Ben Affleck Could ‘Never Look’ at Jennifer Lopez ‘The Same’ After Old Tapes of Her and Diddy, Suge Knight Says
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez allegedly hit a rough patch in their marriage and hope to divorce in 2024. Before Lopez and Affleck first fell in love in the early 2000s, Lopez dated Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. The hip-hop mogul and the celebrity had involvement in a 1999 nightclub shooting. The FBI might investigate the incident after Homeland Security raided two of Combs’ properties in 2024. Here’s what Suge Knight said about Affleck potentially seeing old tapes of Lopez and Combs.
Suge Knight says Ben Affleck will think of Jennifer Lopez differently after seeing old tapes of her with Diddy
Jennifer Lopez and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs go way back. They started dating in 1999 and ended their relationship in 2001. In 2024, Homeland Security raided two of Combs’ properties as a slew of allegations regarding sexual assault and abuse hit the hip-hop mogul. Now, there’s renewed interest in a nightclub shooting that involved Lopez and Combs in 1999.
In 1999, Combs, his bodyguard Anthony “Wolf” Jones, rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, and Lopez went to a club in Manhattan. A shooting broke out, injuring three people. Combs, Lopez, and Jones fled the scene. Police detained Combs and Lopez and initially charged them for their involvement, but they dropped the charges against Lopez.
Suge Knight, Combs’ rival since the ’90s, spoke on his podcast, Collect Call With Suge Knight, about how Ben Affleck and Lopez’s recent marital issues may stem from her involvement in the shooting over 20 years ago. Knight also alleged that Combs had unsavory videos of Lopez’s past actions.
“When they go raid Puffy’s house, and they get all these videos of J.Lo doing this, J.Lo doing that. And they know the fact that J.Lo lied and said the gun was Shyne’s or whatever and sent that man to prison and destroyed his life when she knew it was Puffy,” Knight said. “I’m quite sure they probably called, and the FBI gave respect and a courtesy call to Ben Affleck. … I’m quite sure they said, ‘We’re gonna show you some things. It’s about your wife.’ When he sees the s*** that her and Puffy were doing and who they were doing it with, I’m quite sure they gave his a** those tapes. And I’m quite sure that he can never look at her the same.”
Jennifer Lopez could possibly be considered a witness for Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs’ trial
Jennifer Lopez hasn’t spoken publicly about the Homeland Security raid on Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ home. However, lawyers may call Lopez if the 1999 nightclub shooting comes up. New York lawyer Pete Gleason spoke to In Touch Weekly about how Lopez possibly possesses “firsthand knowledge.”
“Jennifer Lopez’s presence the night of the shooting incident and then departing in the same vehicle as Combs makes her a witness with firsthand knowledge and could subject her to being subpoenaed to testify under oath,” Gleason said. “If there are any criminal charges or civil claims not outside the statute of limitations, this would likely prove problematic for Lopez.”
J.Lo is reportedly ‘disgusted’ by the allegations against the hip-hop mogul
Jennifer Lopez likely wants nothing to do with the accusations against Sean P. Diddy Combs. A source told DailyMail.com that Lopez feels “disappointed” by Combs after seeing the video of him abusing Casandra “Cassie” Ventura in a hotel.
“Among everything else that Jen is dealing with in her life, she is aware and has seen what Diddy did and is tremendously disappointed,” the source said. “Jen is not going to address the accusations or take time to talk about them because it is not her story to tell.”
