Fans suspect Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are quickly headed toward divorce. The couple reunited in 2021 and had a whirlwind romance before landing at the altar in July 2022. While their romance seemed promising, reports suggest that Affleck and Lopez live apart and want to lead separate lives.
Affleck and Lopez allegedly no longer live together. Affleck allegedly lives in a $100,000 monthly rental in Brentwood, California, while Lopez lives in their $60 million Bel-Air mansion. Additionally, the couple stopped wearing their wedding bands. However, Affleck was spotted wearing his wedding band on Memorial Day weekend in 2024.
Reports note he stepped out in Brentwood with his 12-year-old son, Samuel Garner, while wearing a gray T-shirt, black gym shorts, and white Nike trainers. He and his son were seen chewing on ice from a to-go cup while Samuel held a frisbee.
Not only is Affleck seemingly back to wearing his ring, but Lopez is, too. While out in Los Angeles, she was spotted sporting her wedding band on Friday, May 24.
While Affleck and Lopez are back to wearing their bands, it doesn’t look like they spent time together over the holiday weekend. On Sunday, May 26, Affleck was seen sitting outdoors at a restaurant with his three kids — Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel. Affleck was once again dressed casually for the occasion.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez haven’t publicly commented on the divorce rumors that loom over them. However, according to Yahoo, a source told In Touch Weekly that Lopez is “moving on” from Affleck and preparing for a “nasty” separation.
“The split is getting nasty,” the source shared. “She isn’t wasting any time moving on from Ben. She went to the Met Gala alone, she went out to dinner on Mother’s Day without him, and now she’s looking for a new home for herself after they had spent months searching for their dream home. … And with a combined net worth of $550 million, the divorce is only going to get nastier.”

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were married from 2005 to 2018, and they have three children together. A source told DailyMail.com that Jennifer Lopez contacted Garner for help regarding her marriage to Affleck.
“J.Lo has been confiding in Jen because she knows that she is one of the only people in the world who would understand what she is going through,” the source claimed. “She has been through it with the same man herself, and although the circumstances were quite different, it is still the same man, and they both dealt with some of the same issues.”
The source added that Garner hoped to help Affleck and Lopez, as she cares for them.
“Jen does not want Ben to pull the plug on this marriage because she really does care about J.Lo,” the insider added. “She did go to his house to talk to him about this and to try and keep the two of them together.”
