Garner and Affleck separated after 10 years of marriage in 2015, though they vowed to remain friendly for the good of their three kids. Affleck and Lopez rekindled their flame in 2021 and finally tied the knot in 2022. Sadly, they couldn’t make their marriage work and are now working through their divorce as 2024 ends.
Affleck and Lopez are seemingly not on good terms as they finalize their divorce. However, Affleck and Garner remain friendly. The exes celebrated Thanksgiving together with their children in 2024, with Affleck heading over to Garner’s place. According to RadarOnline, a source claims Affleck wants Garner’s help in finding his next girlfriend.
“He’s ready for something real, and he feels like Jennifer is great at cutting through the BS and sniffing out genuine people,” the source explained, adding that Affleck wants to date someone “grounded and mature.”
As for how Garner feels, she allegedly “wants to see Ben happy and loves that she’ll get to have a say because whoever he dates is going to be around her kids.” The insider added that Affleck can be “very needy” with Garner, so having a happy and loving relationship is a win for them both.

“These past two years have been tough for Ben, and as he begins to heal, one thing is very clear: His recovery comes before anything,” the source told DailyMail.com. “He is not going to put his sobriety in jeopardy.”
The insider added that Affleck feels ready to “move forward” and date again after his failed marriage to Lopez, though he doesn’t want to date seriously until his divorce is finalized.
