The Best Seasons of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ To Watch While Waiting for ‘All-Stars 6’
Start your engines, Paramount+ subscribers. Fans are counting down the days until more lipsyncs “for the crown” and another winner of All-Stars. Here are some of the best seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars to watch prior to the spinoff’s sixth season.
RuPaul and World of Wonder announced ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 6’
This reality competition series is reportedly making the switch from VH1 to Paramount’s streaming platform, Paramount+. While the cast list has not been officially announced, some look forward to the return of fan-favorite contestants, each looking to prove their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.
In the meantime, there are plenty of already released episodes of this spinoff and the original series on platforms like Hulu and Paramount+. Some included iconic moments like the Tatianna and Alyssa Edwards lipsync to “Shut Up and Drive.”
‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 2’
You don’t have to transfer us $10,000 via PayPal to get us to watch this season. With contestants like Detox, Katya Zamolodchikova, and Alyssa Edwards, All-Stars 2 is a favorite of many fans. (Not just because of Roxxxy Andrews’ “Read U Wrote U” verse, either.)
This season of the spinoff series is available for binge-watching on both Hulu and Paramount+. There are even some clips available on the RuPaul’s Drag Race YouTube channel. Additionally, other seasons of All-Stars are available on Hulu.
That includes All-Stars 3, which featured Shangela, Trixie Mattel, Kennedy Davenport, and a shocking elimination during the final episode, thanks to the remaining contestants. (The late Chi Chi DeVayne also returned to the runway during this season.)
‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5’
One of the most recently released seasons of the spinoff, All-Stars 5 featured the return of queens like Shea Couleé, Jujubee, and Miz Cracker. These contestants showed off some iconic runways and even received some controversial critiques. However, with these episodes, fans will learn more about the current reigning All-Stars winner.
‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ season 12
This season included contestants like Heidi N Closet, Gigi Goode, Crystal Methyd, and Jaida Essence Hall. Although the reunion and finale episodes were somewhat different due to coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions, this season introduced fans to several contestants fans believe could snatch the All-Stars crown.
Although not every season of All-Stars and RuPaul’s Drag Race is available on Hulu, there are some seasons of other spinoffs for fans to enjoy.
That includes Canada’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. More information regarding new episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars will, presumably, be announced in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, some episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race are available for streaming on Hulu.
