There is a rumor Tyra Banks has banned Real Housewives stars from appearing on the show. It looks like Bethenny Frankel isn’t happy that she was included in the reasoning for the ban. She tweeted about being invited to compete in the past and had a message for Banks.

Tyra Banks made changes to ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Banks became the host of Dancing with the Stars for season 29. She also became a new executive producer of the show so she made a few changes.

Fans haven’t been happy with some of the changes made. The biggest one being Banks replacing hosts, Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. Professional dancer, Cheryl Burke said Banks also changed the fashion on the show.

“She wants to bring like fashion to ballroom in a way. And I’m like as long as I can cha-cha and feel good in it then I’m down for whatever,” Burke teased to Entertainment Tonight.

There is a rumor she banned ‘Real Housewives’ stars

Several Real Housewives stars have competed on Dancing with the Stars in the past. Erika Jayne and Lisa Vanderpump of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Nene Leakes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta has also competed on the dance floor.

But there is a new rumor Banks doesn’t want any more stars from the franchise to be on the show. “Tyra is the new boss and made it clear that she didn’t want any more housewives in her ballroom,” a source said, according to OK!

“She thinks the show needs to aim higher and only book the ladies after everyone else has passed.. Several ladies from the Bravo franchise have already made it clear that they would love to put on their dancing shoes, but Tyra doesn’t want any of them right now,” the source continued.

An insider claimed the new host thinks “Bethenny Frankel, Nene Leakes. and Teresa Giudice do not make headlines anymore.” Giudice is the only star to still be starring in a Real Housewives show.

On Oct. 22, Frankel tweeted her thoughts about the rumored ban. She claimed she was previously asked to compete in the show.

“Good to know @tyrabanks has clumped me in her no more housewives mandate on @DancingABC Also good to know-their casting director Deena [Katz], who I [heart emoji] has asked me to be on the show multiple x in the last decade. I’m also no longer a housewife, but nobody is bigger than the game Tyra,” she tweeted.

Page Six reports she deleted the tweet but included a picture of it in their report. Banks hasn’t responded to the tweet but looks like Frankel isn’t happy to hear cast members won’t be invited to do the show in the future.
