Bethenny Frankel Puts Kylie Jenner on Blast for Buying Daughter Stormi a $12,000 Hermès Backpack; “It’s Everything Wrong With Everything”
To say Bethenny Frankel was not happy with Stormi Webster’s back to school look would be an understatement.
After Kylie Jenner shared the cutest photo of her two-year-old daughter rocking a $12,000 Hermès backpack on her first day of homeschooling, The Real Housewives of New York City alum took to the comments to voice her disapproval over the makeup mogul’s post — and didn’t hold back on her thoughts.

Everyone knows that Jenner is extremely wealthy, but her latest posts of daughter Stormi on her first day of school shows just how rich she truly is.
In a photo posted to Jenner’s Instagram Story on Sept.30, the 2-year-old was seen donning a black outfit and a pair of Nike Air Jordan sneakers as she smiled for the camera.
While the outfit itself was quite a trendy look, what many people couldn’t get over was the pink Hermès Kelly Backpack Stormi was wearing. After all, the luxury accessory does come with an eye-watering $12,000 price tag.
“First day of home school!” Jenner wrote over the image.
Since rocking designer bags is nothing new for Stormi, many of Jenner’s close family and friends gushed over how stylish the toddler looked on her first day of school in the comments.
But just like all of the makeup mogul’s social media posts, a few people voiced their disdain for the back to school photos — including former RHONY star Bethenny Frankel who had a big problem with the mom of one flaunting her wealth during a pandemic.

When Us Weekly reposted Jenner’s photo of her 2-year-old daughter all dressed up and ready for her first day of homeschooling, Frankel took the comments to share her thoughts regarding the post.
“I never say anything about this stuff but this is the most transparent humble brag I’ve seen yet,” she wrote. “It’s everything wrong with everything.”
After receiving mixed opinions from fans regarding her comment, Frankel hit up Twitter to defend her remark.
“I commented on @usweekly on a 12k backpack on @KylieJenner daughter,” she wrote on Oct. 1. “I’m no stranger to an @Hermes_Paris bag & have a daughter & luxury cars, but flaunting (under the guise of a back to school post) during a pandemic & the greatest unemployment crisis in our lifetime is a choice.”
The Hermès backpack isn’t the only luxury bag Stormi owns
Though Frankel wasn’t a fan of Jenner using her daughter to flaunt her wealth, sharing videos and photos of the toddler enjoying the finer things in life is nothing new for the makeup mogul.
Like her famous mama, the little girl also has a love of luxury handbags and has been gifted many designer purses in her short life.
From walking around with a $1,200 Louis Vuitton purse earlier this month to receiving four baby Prada bags worth more than $700 each back in July, Stormi’s luxury handbag collection continues to grow.
And at the rate she’s going, she could have just as many designer handbags as Jenner before the age of 10.
We guess it’s true when they say the apple doesn’t fall from the tree.
