‘Better Call Saul’ Season 6 Set Photo Has Fans Losing It
Better Call Saul fans can’t wait until the next season. It’s been over a year since the show went off, ending with Saul Goodman becoming more and more like the guy we first met in Breaking Bad. But after repeated delays, filming on season 6 has finally begun.
Amid production, an alleged set photo has emerged that seems to show how close we’re getting to the Breaking Bad timeline. The image has fans going wild and speculating on what it means.

How fans are reacting to the photo allegedly from the set of ‘Better Call Saul’ Season 6
The photo emerged over the weekend of Friday, May 14. Shared on Reddit, it shows a crew outside of Saul’s strip mall office from Breaking Bad. “They’re back filming at Saul Goodman’s strip mall office, and the white Cadillac is there, parked at his space by the door!” the post read in part.
Neither AMC nor Better Call Saul has confirmed that the image is from season 6, but that didn’t stop fans from obsessing over it.
“So exciting! Can’t wait for season 6,” one person said. “These photos and Rhea Seehorn’s tweet saying she was working all day on May 12 make me think she was inside Saul’s strip mall office which is quite exciting,” another wrote.
Whatever happens, ‘Better Call Saul’ Season 6 will make you look at ‘Breaking Bad’ differently
At this point in the show, we’re actually still a few years ahead of the beginning of Breaking Bad. But as the final season, it’s possible that Better Call Saul will jump around to bring the show full circle. Co-creator Peter Gould hinted this could happen in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, saying the series will reveal things about certain Breaking Bad events that fans never knew.
“I think we’re going to learn things about the characters in Breaking Bad that we didn’t know,” he said. “We’re going to learn things about the events of Breaking Bad that we didn’t know. And we’re going to learn things about the fates of a lot of these characters that may surprise people or certainly throw them into a different light.”
The show will also reveal what happens to Saul when he starts over as Gene Takovic, which Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman) admits might not be good. “I wonder if it would be possible to write — because I like the guy — I wonder if it would be possible to give Jimmy McGill a better ending [than Walter White], a better place to end in than he started in. I don’t know if they’re going to do that though,” he previously told Collider.
When does ‘Better Call Saul’ Season 6 come out?
The sixth season of Better Call Saul was expected to air in 2021, but that date shifted due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Now, it’s aiming for a 2022 release, but there’s no set date just yet. Be sure to check back in with us for updates as they become available.
