As the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis continues with no end in sight, it appears that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have sought refuge in The Hamptons. The billionaire couple was seen jetting off with their three children back in June and have been photographed in the area on several occasions ever since.

While details about their time in quarantine are limited, it looks like Beyoncé and Jay-Z might be hunkered down in a $26 million mansion they purchased a few years back.

Inside Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s house in the Hamptons

According to the home and neighborhood website Trulia, Beyoncé and Jay-Z purchased the mansion in September 2017. The property boasts seven bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, a massive kitchen, an infinity-edge pool, a two-bedroom guest cottage, and more with stunning views of a nearby bond and a 17-acre meadow preserve.

As far as the details, Trulia reported that it has a “custom design and hand-milled woodwork” throughout the house, bathrooms that were sculpted with marble from Verona, Italy, and other house accents such as tubs and counters that “master European craftsmen” carved from blocks of stone. With over 12,000 square feet, there’s clearly more than enough room for the couple and their kids: 8-year daughter Blue Ivy and 3-year-old twins Sir and Rumi.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s quarantine activities have been caught on camera

Around the June 19 release of her song “Black Parade,” Beyoncé and her family were seen arriving at The Hamptons, a summer getaway spot for the world’s affluent circle. Websites such as TMZ published photos of the pair that showed Beyoncé exiting a plane with their daughter Rumi and Jay-Z holding their son, Sir, as Blue Ivy walked with them.

In the days since their arrival, she and Jay-Z have not said anything about the getaway. But they have been seen out together on a couple of occasions, including in June when they went shopping and late July when they were photographed on a bike ride.

It is unclear how long the couple intends to stay in The Hamptons, as their main residence appears to be a $88 million mansion in Bel-Air, California. Purchased in 2017, that 30,000 square foot home is arguably even more stunning than the Hamptons house, featuring eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a movie theater, and more, according to Variety.

In addition to that property, the pair also has a mansion in New Orleans and another home in Jay-Z’s native New York, according to the real estate website StreetEasy.

While they seem to be keeping a low-profile, Beyoncé has been vocal online about a few things

A notoriously private person, Beyoncé has not commented at all on their life during the coronavirus crisis, more so focusing on social justice issues and the recent release of her Disney+ film Black Is King, which has a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of this writing.

Released on July 31, Black Is King is Beyoncé’s retelling of the 2019 remake of The Lion King, in which she voiced Nala. It ties in the story with visuals from the Beyoncé-produced soundtrack of the movie, The Gift, which features cameos from Blue Ivy, Jay-Z, and her best friend Kelly Rowland. The film can be streamed now for your viewing pleasure, in case you haven’t already seen it.
