The years have really been flying by, as Jay-Z and Beyoncé have already been together since 2001. They tend to keep a low-profile, making it known that they value their privacy as well as their family time. It was in 2003 that they dropped their first joint project and began appearing as a couple shortly thereafter.
They finally tied the knot in a secret ceremony in 2008, and have been going strong ever since. When it comes to their kids, however, they definitely don’t reveal much, and we only see the occasional picture of the entire clan. So, who exactly, are the family members?
Well, they have their oldest daughter, Blue Ivy, and it seems that the little girl is growing up quicker than we can keep up with. It wasn’t long ago that Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed twins, a girl, and a boy, that they adorably named Rumi and Sir.

Celebrities always come up with fun and unique ways to announce that they are expecting a baby, and it very well may be that Beyoncé had one of the best pregnancy announcements ever. She didn’t simply post on social media that her first child was on the way like so many other people do. How did she tell the world the great news?
According to Us Weekly, the gorgeous singer decided to make the announcement at the 2011 VMA’s. Appearing at the event, she cradled her growing bump in front of the cameras, making it evident that she was indeed pregnant. When it came time for her performance, she kept her jacket buttoned up until the end of the song, when she undid the buttons and lovingly rubbed her growing belly.

We can only imagine that when Blue Ivy was born, Beyoncé and Jay-Z wanted to introduce her to the world on their own terms. Now, we are learning that they went to extreme measures to protect their baby, and they are taking some criticism for it.
So, what did they do? Well, apparently, they rented out an entire wing of the hospital when their daughter arrived, even going so far as to deny other new parents access to the neonatal intensive care unit.
E! Online reports that there were rumors that the couple paid more than $1 million to ensure privacy, although the hospital is denying this. While they definitely had security present for the birth, it is said that they didn’t take over an entire floor, and simply stayed in an executive suite at Lenox Hill Hospital.
