Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2022. While the couple seemed to have a great relationship for several years, it went downhill toward the end. Now, Kim and West don’t appear to have much communication. West is in Tokyo with Bianca Censori working on his album while Kim stays behind and looks after their four kids: North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.
A source told In Touch Weekly that Kim didn’t share in West’s love of video games. However, Censori shares in West’s passion and video games have become a way for the couple to bond in their downtime.
“Kim tried to be supportive back when they were together, but she really couldn’t stand it and would always make comments about what a waste of time it was,” the insider alleged. “With Bianca, though, Ye finally has a partner who enjoys his gaming world just as much. It’s become a bonding thing for them, and Ye couldn’t be happier.”
The source noted that West can be “completely immersed” in video games for hours and “always brings his consoles and VR headset along” when he travels.
“Bianca totally gets it,” the insider continued. “She’s right there with him, joining in whenever she can, and the kids are into it too.”
Kim Kardashian once claimed she and Kanye West have ‘a lot’ in common
Before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West officially started dating, Kim claimed she had “a lot” in common with the music mogul. In a 2012 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim coyly hinted at her budding romance with West when she borrowed his car.
“This is my friend’s car that I’m borrowing,” Kim said to her sister, Kourtney Kardashian.
“So Kanye and I, you know, we have, I think, a lot of things in common,” Kim told the camera. “We both just love cars, so … what’s the big deal, I’m just borrowing my friend’s car?”
“You’re just friends, and you’re borrowing his car?” Kourtney asked suspiciously. “Why can’t I borrow his car?” Kourtney asked Kim if she and West were “more than friends.”
“Relax,” Kim said, “It’s not that serious.”
In 2012, Kim relayed additional similarities between her and West in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. “I can really relate to his mother passing … he can really relate to my father passing,” she said, according to E! News. “I mean, there’s so many similarities in our life that … I feel like I’m at a really happy, good space.”

Kanye West and Bianca Censori are still in Japan — and their stay has no end in sight. While Censori seemed to love the jet-setting lifestyle at first, a source told In Touch Weekly she wants a “more stable and settled life” now.
“She’s been pushing for a more stable and settled life,” the insider alleged. “The moving around and the constant changing of plans is driving her up the wall and she finally put her foot down and demanded they get a home base.”
Censori allegedly wants to call Los Angeles her full-time home. “LA is where she wants to be,” they continued. “She loves it there and has a huge network of friends there. Being halfway around the world was very lonely for her.”
