Kevin Campbell has been nominated four times

Big Brother 16 runner-up Cody Calafiore became the first Head of Household of the season and nominated Kevin Campbell alongside Keesha Smith.

After realizing Keesha served as a number for house targets Janelle Pierzina and Kaysar Ridha, he targeted her and extended an olive branch to Kevin. Three weeks later, Kevin found himself on the block next to Kaysar but saved himself by winning the Power of Veto.

Two weeks later, Dani Briones (formerly Donato) nominated Kevin alongside David Alexander before replacing him with her ally Tyler Crispen. Da’Vonne Rogers won the POV and used it on Kevin, forcing Dani to name a fourth nominee.

The following week, Memphis Garrett nominated Kevin and Da’Vonne, citing her saving him as the reason. He survived because the voting houseguests perceived Da’Vonne as a bigger threat.

Cody became Head of Household for Week 8

Following her eviction, the competitors faced off for the next title of Head of Household. BB2 winner and legendary player Dr. Will Kirby moved in next door to the houseguests as part of a new twist to tempt them with prizes and money over power.

Cody gunned for the title and won it, with three players giving into temptation and playing for the money. Only two walked away with $5,000 each; Tyler, who later admitted it to Triple Thr3at allies Enzo Palumbo and Cody, and another houseguest who hasn’t revealed themselves yet.

After his win, Cody expressed he planned on nominating the only two players left he isn’t explicitly aligned with, David and Kevin. If a nominee wins the POV, Cody claimed he would “seriously think” about backdooring The Committee members Christmas Abbott or Dani.

Cody and Kevin got into a heated exchange before nominations

The HOH spoke with his two nominees shortly before the nomination ceremony. He told David that he had someone else in mind and promised the BB21 returnee he had his back “one million percent.” However, the conversation with Kevin went much differently.

The BB11 finalist felt Cody implied they were on “opposite sides” and going “tit for tat.” Kevin explained he’s OK with that because it’s an “easy way out” in a game where people need excuses to nominate or vote for someone.

Cody assumed Kevin threatened him with a jury vote and insisted they never talked. However, the BB11 finalist claimed he tried but stopped when he realized the conversations shifted when he walked into a room.

The BB16 runner-up asked if it was only him, and Kevin answered, “Not just you. The world doesn’t revolve around you, Cody.” The HOH got offended and called the comment “unnecessary.”

Kevin then sarcastically stated he should pity Cody, again making the HOH feel like the BB11 finalist threw “digs” at him. Kevin apologized and called the heated interaction “petty.”

He told Cody he believes they have “a difference in opinion” and decided to leave because he could tell the BB16 runner-up got “big mad.” Cody later told Dani about the interaction and said he would have “f*****g snapped” if that happened in the real world.
