‘Big Brother 22’: Why Enzo Palumbo Has the Nickname ‘Meow Meow’
One of the stars of Big Brother 22 is Enzo Palumbo. He has a big personality and his nickname, “Meow Meow” is part of that. But where does it come from? Palumbo explained this during Big Brother 12.

The Big Brother 22 cast was revealed on the night of the premiere. Each cast member has competed on the show before.
Kaysar Ridha, Janelle Pierzina, Dani Briones, Enzo Palumbo, Kevin Campbell, Christmas Abbott, David Alexander, Keesha Smith, Memphis Garrett, Nicole Anthony, Tyler Crispen, Nicole Franzel, Da’Vonne Rogers, Cody Calafiore, Ian Terry, Bayleigh Dayton, and Palumbo are part of the cast.
The cast members represent many years of the show. Palumbo is from Big Brother 12, which aired in 2010.
He came in third place in ‘Big Brother 12’
This season had a twist of The Saboteur. This is a houseguest who tries to make the other people paranoid, and sabotage people’s strategy and performance in challenges.
Palumbo was a member of The Brigade alliance but was evicted after Hayden Moss chose to evict him. He also went by the name of “Meow Meow” during that season.
He told Entertainment Tonight he hoped Moss from his alliance will be there. He isn’t there with him but he still has a strategy to win.
“Socially I’m very likable. I know how to just make you like me,” the houseguest said. He said in the beginning he’ll be nice and calm and cool. “I’m not gonna’ ruffle any feathers early. I don’t overplay. I see a lot of people get into this house and overplay too fast.”
Palumbo is also single this time around. He said he’s open to a showmance later in the season. “I’m definitely going to get my flirt on. There’s no question about it. The Meow Meow will definitely get his flirt on,” he said.
His nickname started before television
Sometimes reality stars get their nicknames from something that happened on their shows. Or they get a nickname from fans. But Palumbo went by “Meow Meow” before Big Brother.
He explained it to other houseguests during the live feeds. Palumbo said during last call when he was around 25 years old he picked up two women with his friend from a bar. They then got into his car.
One of the women farted loudly and tried to blame it on Palumbo. He denied it and she finally told him, “Whatever meow meow meow.” Palumbo has been going by Meow Meow ever since.
Palumbo has called himself “Meow Meow” in his diary room scenes on the show. It doesn’t seem like the other houseguests are calling him that yet. Fans will have to keep watching to see if the nickname will catch on to his new fellow cast members.
