Then 23-year-old former Texas A&M defensive back, Clay Honeycutt, competed on the 17th season of Big Brother in 2015. He quickly formed a showmance with Shelli Poole, and the two sat comfortably in the majority. She won Head of Household during Week 2 and Week 4, putting the couple in a dominant position.
The following week, Clay was nominated for eviction but saved himself by winning a critical Veto competition. In Week 6, Shelli made a deal in an attempt to keep her and Clay off the block, but James Huling reneged and nominated them both.
For only the second time in Big Brother history, Clay requested the houseguests evict him instead of Shelli. They honored his wishes and unanimously voted the collegiate football player out of the house in 12th place. “Clelli” continued their relationship after the show ended, but Shelli announced the two decided to part ways after only a few weeks for undisclosed reasons.
A little over a year later, Clay began dating Ashley Prochazka, a former cheerleader.
Ashley ‘Pro’ Prochazka on ‘Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team’
In 2014, Texas-native Ashley “Pro” Prochazka made her debut in Season 9 of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team. The CMT reality television series revolves around the auditioning process and annual forming of the cheerleading squad for NFL team, Dallas Cowboys.
Each year, hundreds of ladies audition for the team by undergoing a “training camp” so the director Kelli Finglass, choreographer Judy Trammell, and former Army drill sergeant Jay Johnson can decide which 36 auditionees will make the team.
Ashley Prochazka alongside several other rookies tried out for the 2014 – 2015 squad. Even though some viewers’ bodies shamed her, many called her a “bright light” and felt like she “held herself together well.”
However, she wasn’t the strongest dancer and messed up some of the choreography. Therefore, the Texas-native didn’t make the team.
According to her LinkedIn, she became a freelance hairstylist specializing in wedding destinations after the DCC appearance before becoming a territory sales manager for a pharmaceutical company.

The couple also vacationed together in The Bahamas and swam with pigs and sharks, visited New York, and rode horses on the beach in Los Cabos, Mexico.
On March 14, 2020, Ashley thought she planned a surprise birthday dinner for her boyfriend, but instead, he flipped it and proposed to her at the same bar where they met.
The two made the engagement announcement in an Instagram post. Congratulations are in order for Clay and Ashley!
