‘Big Brother’: Dan Gheesling and Nicole Anthony Drop Hints They’re Returning for ‘All-Stars 2’
Although CBS hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet, many insiders have reported that the upcoming Big Brother season will be the highly anticipated All-Stars 2. As the summer is gearing up, fans are monitoring potential returning houseguests’ social media and believe BB10 winner Dan Gheesling and BB21 finalist Nicole Anthony are dropping hints they’re coming back.
Dan Gheesling on ‘Big Brother’
In 2008, then 24-year-old Michigan based teacher Dan Gheesling competed on Big Brother 10. Although he was on the outs due to the early eviction of his close ally, Brian Hart, he avoided becoming the next target by convincing the others he wasn’t a threat by throwing competitions.
In Week 4, the teacher stepped up his game after becoming America’s Player and casting the deciding vote to evict Jessie Godderz, a move that gave him the “Judas” nickname and created a secret alliance with Memphis Garrett.
The Michigan-native made it to the Final Two alongside his ally and eventually won in a unanimous vote. To date, he’s the only U.S. player to achieve a Perfect Game or win unanimously without ever receiving an eviction vote throughout the season.
He returned four years later for BB14 as a Coach until the game turned individual. The teacher played another great game as he managed to get himself vetoed off the block when he was the target and later convinced his teammate to use the Power of Veto on him so he could backdoor her showmance.
While the BB10 champ outlasted all the other coaches and made it to the Final Two again without receiving an eviction vote, he lost in a 6-1 vote to Ian Terry due to his ruthless gameplay.
Nicole Anthony on ‘Big Brother 21’
Last summer, the then 24-year-old New York-based preschool aide joined the cast of Big Brother 21. Although she didn’t win many competitions, she had an incredible social game and managed to survive eviction by flipping the vote on Week 3.
After the majority alliance Gr8ful broke up, she and ally Cliff Hogg III had a better standing in the game and made a final four alliance with former members of Gr8ful, Jackson Michie and Holly Allen.
She then had the opportunity to evict the latter and ensure her spot in the Final Two but instead honored her deal. The preschool aide failed to win either part of the final Head of Household competitions, and Michie chose to take his showmance to the end over her.
The 24-year-old became the last member of the Jury and cast her winning vote for Allen. Due to her personality, growth, and underdog status throughout the season, fans voted her America’s Favorite Houseguest.
Dan Gheesling and Nicole Anthony hint ‘All-Stars 2’ return
While CBS hasn’t confirmed much about Big Brother 22 yet, many insiders have reported it will be the highly requested All-Stars 2. Additionally, some believe the cast members are starting sequester as early as this week.
Therefore, when Gheesling and Anthony both promoted re-runs of their broadcasts, on the same day, many took it as a sign that they are returning for BB22. The BB10 champ also noted a “special announcement” coming on Sunday, July 5, at 3 p.m.
Several viewers believe that announcement might have something to do with the All-Star 2 cast reveal. Other rumored returning players include Janelle Pierzina (BB6, 7, 14), Derrick Levasseur (BB16 champ), Paul Abrahamian (BB18, 19), Josh Martinez (BB19), and Bayleigh Dayton (BB20).
