‘Big Brother’: Kat Dunn Details Why She and Holly Allen Are No Longer Friends
In April 2020, Big Brother 21 star Kathryn Dunn revealed she and runner-up Holly Allen were no longer on speaking terms. However, she didn’t go into detail. A few months later, the former Miss Wyoming threw shade at Dunn on a podcast, and the former NBA dancer responded by opening up about the blowup that ended their friendship.
Kat Dunn and Holly Allen previously knew each other before ‘Big Brother 21’
Last summer, 29-year-old digital marketing executive Kathryn Dunn and 31-year-old wine safari guide Holly Allen competed on Big Brother 21. However, they previously met several years before as they both participated in pageants and did promotional modeling together.
Within the first couple of weeks of living in the BB house, the digital marketing executive developed a fling with eventual winner Jackson Michie. He then ended it so he could pursue a relationship with Allen.
The 29-year-old didn’t seem to care as she later aligned with the couple and named their alliance “Threemance.”
However, the reveal of their pre-existing connection placed a target on the ladies’ backs, resulting in Dunn’s elimination two weeks later.

After filming ended, Dunn and Allen, who became close friends on the show, continued hanging out alongside other co-stars in California and Las Vegas. Additionally, the ladies participated in an event together in Colorado.
In February 2020, shortly after Allen and Michie moved in together, Dunn visited her former allies. However, she and the 32-year-old got into a huge fight that resulted in the end of their friendship.
While Dunn didn’t explain what went down at the time, it was apparent there was bad blood between the former friends as they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Additionally, the runner-up threw shade at the digital marketing executive in a July 2020 podcast, nearly six months after their blowup.
When asked if a potential houseguest should study up on Big Brother before they entered the house, the former Miss Wyoming claimed Dunn did because she only wanted “relevancy and followers” from the show.
Dunn has always been open about wanting to become a social media influencer after exiting the popular reality series.

Shortly after the podcast’s release, Dunn broadcast live on Instagram several times and detailed what went down between the former friends when she visited the couple in February 2020.
According to the 30-year-old, she Facetimed her then-boyfriend, BB21 houseguest Nick Maccarone, with Michie in a spare bedroom. However, Allen accused the digital marketing executive of trying to sleep with her boyfriend and kicked the Texas-native out of their apartment at 3 a.m.
The 32-year-old also reportedly called the police, but Dunn said she left before they arrived. Upset Allen brought her up in the podcast, the former NBA dancer threw shade back at her, stating the wine safari guide should have focused more on “relevancy” as fans, especially Live Feeders, mainly only know her as “Beth.”
The digital marketing executive also commented on Allen and Michie’s recent breakup, calling their relationship “toxic.” Additionally, she claimed the apartment belongs to the BB21 winner as Allen isn’t on the lease, which is why the former Miss Wyoming had to look for a new place after the breakup.
Dunn also called her former friend “a very petty b***h” and stated she believes it’s the “hatred” coming out of the runner-up that makes her look “old and ugly.”
The former NBA dancer continued throwing shots on Twitter the following day as she claimed Allen only came on the show to “do her makeup for hours on end.”
