‘Big Brother’ Stars Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo Want More Kids ‘Back to Back’
Married couple Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo met in 2016 on Big Brother 18. Five years later, they welcomed their first child together, Arrow. Shortly after his birth, Arroyo noted they wanted to have more kids “back to back.”

In Jan. 2021, a couple of months after returning from her third and final stint in the Big Brother house following season 22, champ Nicole Franzel and former houseguest and her fianceé, Victor Arroyo, announced they were expecting their first child together.
They revealed the news in an Instagram post, including the couple laying on a bed surrounded by treats and a sonogram, noting their newest “sidekick” planned to arrive in July 2021. After the Mar. 2021 gender reveal announced the baby as a boy; Arroyo revealed his son would carry his name, becoming Victor Arroyo IV.
The following month, the two noted they planned on calling their child “Arrow” to prevent others from referring to him as “baby Vic.” However, she said he’s able to identify with whatever name he chooses.
A couple of weeks before the birth, Nicole revealed her baby is breech, resulting in a scheduled cesarean delivery or C-section. Only July 23, she welcomed their healthy son into the world.
They want more kids ‘back to back’
As Arroyo waited in the hospital for his wife to give birth, he began answering questions on his Instagram Story. One fan asked how soon they plan on trying for another child following the birth of Arrow.
He answered, “We want them back-to-back. Hopefully, by the end, we have four little rugrats, but we’ll see.” Arroyo also tagged Franzel in the post, but she hasn’t confirmed or denied if she wants three more children in a row.
On top of the C-section, which the former winner feared because she hadn’t had surgery before, Franzel admitted she struggled with self-esteem as she gained weight throughout the pregnancy.
Additionally, she had to return to the hospital after giving birth due to heavy bleeding. As she didn’t have the easiest experience, she might want to wait before having another child.
The two married in Mar. 2021 after postponing twice
In 2016, the couple met during Big Brother 18, which she went on to win. Even though she had a showmance throughout the season, Arroyo admitted he had a crush on her.
The following year, the two, both single at the time, met up in New York for the premiere of BB19 and decided to take their relationship to the next level. She revealed the two began dating during a Sept. 2017 episode of her podcast, Coco Caliente, explaining they started exclusively seeing each other three months before her announcement.
After a year of dating, they returned to the Big Brother house in Sept. 2018; Franzel thought to host a competition, where he surprised her by proposing to her. Following their engagement, the couple settled down in her hometown of Ubly, Michigan, and he began working as a cop.
Although the two initially planned on a Turks and Caicos destination wedding, they tied the knot in Mar. 2021 in Florida after postponing it twice. Big Brother 23 airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on CBS.
