‘Big Brother’: Sarah Beth Says Derek X Is ‘Useless’ to Her for Not Doing This 1 Thing
Big Brother 23 fans are worried about fan-favorite Derek Xiao. Sarah Beth Steagall has the power this week and made it known that she’d like to take him out. This is why she called him useless to her on the live feeds.

Derek Xiao is in trouble on ‘Big Brother 23’
Derek X was very close to getting Head of Household (HOH), but he lost to Sarah Beth. She talked to Kyland Young and decided to put Claire Rehfuss and Derek Frazier on the block in the Aug. 22 episode.
Alyssa Lopez then decided to use her bb bucks to play in roulette and won. However, it backfired because she took Derek F off the block, and it landed on Xavier Prather, putting him on the block.
There still needs to be a veto competition, and the episode ended with Sarah Beth saying her goal is to backdoor Derek X. “I’m sorry, America. I’m sending your boy home,” she told the camera.
Sarah Beth says Derek X is ‘useless’ to her because he won’t throw others under the bus
The live feeds have revealed Xavier won the veto. That means Derek X is most likely going home, and he knows it.
Derek X and Sarah Beth had a private conversation on Aug. 22. He was trying to make his plea to save his game. “I legitimately have never said your name. I never wanted to target you. I guess the frustrating thing is like I definitely heard your name,” he told her. He then said he was in no position to say and he’s “not throwing anyone under any bus.”
Sarah Beth later talked about this with Kyland. “I don’t think his arguments are good enough,” she said. She then acknowledged that Derek X mentioned other people are targeting her, but wouldn’t name them.
“Then you’re useless to me [laughs] like I didn’t say that to him, but that’s what I thought in my head,” she said. “I don’t know why this cast is like so resistant to throwing out people’s names. Throw people under the bus! You know what I mean? If you think someone’s coming after me, use that information. Convince me.”
She thinks he didn’t drop their names because he’s expecting to have their votes to keep him safe. Sarah Beth says she already expects Tiffany Mitchell, Claire, and Hannah Chaddha are coming after her anyway. She said, in the end, she’s most afraid of Derek X, so that’s why she’s targeting him.
Sarah Beth is right that Tiffany and Hannah wouldn’t mind her leaving. She previously said Hannah should be evicted, and this got back to them. Tiffany has made it her mission to turn other people against Sarah Beth since then. It looks like fans will have to keep watching to see which person will go home first.
