Big Mouth will return for season 4 on December 4, so it’s really just around the corner. A major part of this new season centers around anxiety – something everyone can relate to. According to Deadline, the series returns with the kids in summer camp before hitting a new grade – eighth grade. Some new characters come into play, including Tito the Anxiety Mosquito (Maria Bamford), who from the looks of the trailer seems to be spreading anxiety around to everyone. Fans will also encounter Gratitoad (Zach Galifianakis), who tries to help the kids with their anxieties.

There will also be a number of guest voices joining the cast in the new season that include: Seth Rogen, John Oliver, Maya Erskine, Josie Totah, Anna Konkle, Quinta Brunson, Paul Giamatti, Lena Waithe, and Sterling K. Brown.

There’s a brand-new trailer

The new trailer certainly doesn’t disappoint. The kids are at summer camp, and it doesn’t seem to be going that well. Jessi Glaser (Jessi Klein) and Nick Birch (Nick Kroll) talk about camp, and it isn’t as fun as you might imagine.

“Hey, how’s camp going for you?” Nick asks her.

“Absolutely terrible, you?” Jessi replies.

Nick mentions that it’s a “constant nightmare.”

Luckily, Andrew Glouberman (John Mulaney) is there, but it causes some problems when Andrew and Seth Goldberg (who appears to be friends with Nick) become too chummy for Nick’s liking. “This was my camp,” Nick says. “You stole my Seth.”

Then Nick encounters Tito the Anxiety Mosquito, who bites him and then promptly apologizes. But Anxiety Mosquitoes seem to be a problem for a lot of the kids this season.

There is also more “coupling up” going on, including between Jay Bilzerian (Jason Mantzoukas) and Lola Skumpy (Kroll), as they talk about making out and Jay mentions “licking the breakfast” from her molars, and they start to make out.

Jessi learns about the new pairing, as Tito the Anxiety Mosquito reminds her, “It looks like everyone is moving on and doing really well without you.”

There’s another scene of Tito as a giant monster mosquito with three heads, so you know this season is going to be epic.

Missy (Jenny Slate) is also back, and she trades her signature overalls in for a more grown-up look. Her overalls ask her not to leave, and her hormone monster responds for her. “Shut the f*** up overalls,” she says. “You make her look like a baby farmer and you suck.”

Ayo Edebiri will voice Missy starting with the episode before the finale, and she will continue to be the voice for the character in the future as well.

Before the ending of the trailer, Tito the Anxiety Mosquito asks Jessi, “Can I point something out? Everything’s kind of crumbling around you.”

This season is going to continue the journey of growing up in all its glory with an interesting take. It will open up on the topic of sexuality and all the different scenarios that come into play. There isn’t much longer to wait for the all-new season of Big Mouth.
