Billie Eilish Shares Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe to Promote Her New Vegan Chocolate Bar
Billie Eilish just released her own fragrance, and now she’s launching a vegan chocolate bar, too. To celebrate her new sweet treat, Eilish finally shared her famous vegan peanut butter chocolate chip cookie recipe that fans know she has been using for years.
Here’s everything you need to know about the recipe and Eilish’s new product.
Billie Eilish is vegan
Eilish is an animal rights supporter, and she frequently posts on social media about the cruelties of the dairy and meat industries to her 95.9 million Instagram followers and 6.3 million Twitter followers.
“I am vegan. I’ve been vegan for, damn, seven years,” Eilish told British Vogue in May 2021 (via Insider).
She said that learning more about the meat and dairy industries made her want to abstain from all animal products, including seafood, meat, eggs, milk, and cheese.
“Once you know that kind of thing and you see it, it’s really hard to go back,” Eilish said. “And now, even though I have lots of friends that eat dairy and meat and I don’t ever want to tell anybody what to do, I just can’t go on in my life knowing what’s going on in the animal world and like, not doing anything about it.”
The singer even got fashion house Oscar de la Renta to stop using fur in designs in exchange for wearing a gown by the label to the 2021 Met Gala.

Eilish fans know that she frequently bakes this vegan cookie recipe. She even made it while interviewing with Rolling Stone in June 2021.
She told the magazine that she used to make the cookies whenever she was sad. “It was a therapeutic thing for me,” she explained.
The “Happier Than Ever” singer shared photos explaining how to make the cookies in her Instagram Stories. Here’s the full recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter (Eilish used Kirkland Signature organic creamy peanut butter)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup oat flour
1 tsp baking soda
⅛ tsp salt

Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 350℉
2. Mix brown sugar and peanut butter in a mixing bowl for about 1 minute
3. Add vanilla extract and mix for another 30 seconds
4. In a separate bowl, combine oat flour (Eilish made her own by blending oats in a blender), baking soda, and salt.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture and mix while adding the almond milk.
6. Add some chocolate chips (to taste) to the dough.
7. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet and use a fork to flatten the cookies (Eilish wrote, “squish em down with a fork so they spread out, since these don’t rise too much”)
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes
9. Top with one square of vegan chocolate (Eilish used her own vegan chocolate bar)
The “Bad Guy” singer just launched a vegan chocolate bar
Eilish is sharing her famous cookie recipe now because she’s promoting her latest product, a vegan chocolate bar. She just launched her first fragrance in October, and now she’s adding chocolate to her line of products.
While sharing the cookie recipe, Eilish posted an image of her chocolate bar with a lengthy caption explaining how she had to give up dairy milk chocolate when she went vegan. She found “the BEST vegan chocolate” she’d ever had at a store in Berlin, and she teamed up with them to create her own bar. The brand is iChoc Vegan Chocolate, which Eilish tagged in the Story.
Eilish explained, “i know it sounds like a random thing to sell but it’s so f—ing good and want people to know how good vegan goods can be!”
The Happier Than Ever Vegan Classic Chocolate Bar is $10 and has already sold out on Eilish’s website. Hopefully, it will be restocked in time for fans to place orders for the holidays!
