‘BIP’: Dean Unglert’s Dream Wedding Plans With Caelynn Miller-Keyes Are Exactly What You Would Imagine
When Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes left Bachelor in Paradise Season 6, fans wondered whether the couple would get married anytime soon. The ABC series typically produces quick engagements. But if viewers remember how Unglert and Miller-Keyes made their exit on the show, it’s no surprise the reality stars won’t be aiming for a traditional wedding.

Miller-Keyes and Unglert had quite the dramatic run on Bachelor in Paradise Season 6. After getting together on the summer spinoff, Unglert chose to dump Miller-Keyes on her birthday. But after sparking something new with Connor Saeli, Unglert came back and asked Miller-Keyes to leave the show with him.
In the end, Miller-Keyes and Unglert ditched the show in Mexico and embarked on their own journey. Now, the former reality stars are active on social media, where they share everything from their travels to moments with their dog, Pappy.

A few months after Miller-Keyes and Unglert left BIP, many fans thought the reality stars got secretly married. In February, E! News even reported the Bachelor Nation alums went through a “commitment ceremony” while abroad to bring their relationship to a “new level.”
Then when speaking with host Chris Harrison on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever, Miller-Keyes and Unglert revealed they’re not legally married. But they’re in it for “the long haul” and wear rings to symbolize their commitment.
“I don’t need the title of ‘husband’ to show the world I’m committed to one person,” Unglert said. “The fact that I’m wearing the ring is showing just that. I’m committed to Caelynn and only Caelynn. And that’s why I’ve worn it.”
He continued, “It’s not a traditional marriage or engagement ring. But it’s our little way of telling the world — or the people we’re around — that we’re committed to each other.”
Meanwhile, Miller-Keyes said, “It’s nice to know we’re in this strong, committed relationship without having to get the government involved, as Dean likes to say.”

Still speaking with Harrison on The Greatest Seasons, Miller-Keyes and Unglert noted they had no plans to get the “government involved.” That said, they claimed Harrison was “100% top of the list” to officiate the wedding if they ever decided to get legally married.
But if the Bachelor Nation alums were to tie the knot, Unglert recently told Us Weekly his wedding with Miller-Keyes would be more like a “party.”
“I would just invite a bunch of my friends over and we’d get really drunk,” Unglert said in August 2020. “We’d all tell a bunch of great stories and laugh and cry and that would be the day.”
The reality star also hinted the event wouldn’t be “traditional.” Instead, Unglert explained it would just be a “celebration of friendship and love” for friends and family.
“Really, that’s all we’ve really ever asked for,” Unglert said.
