‘BIP’: Why Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour Put Their Wedding Plans on Hold
It’s been a hot minute since Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise Season 6. So naturally, fans are constantly searching for updates on the couple, from wedding plans to whatever comes next in their relationship. But now, it seems Godwin and Barbour won’t be getting married anytime soon due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, the Bachelor Nation alums might be making a major move together soon.

For the most part, Godwin and Barbour stayed out of the drama after getting together on Bachelor in Paradise. But once the pair decided to connect, they were in it for the long haul. Then in the summer spinoff’s grand finale, Barbour got down on one knee and proposed to Godwin.
Now, it’s been over a year since Godwin and Barbour got engaged. The Bachelor Nation couple celebrated their one-year engagement anniversary in Huntington Beach, per Us Weekly.
“Happy 1 year anniversary to me telling you how f’d you are for agreeing to marry me,” Barbour wrote on Instagram.
Then in a separate Instagram post, Godwin wrote, “What a whirlwind. thanks for the most epic year of my life @dylanbarbour. I never knew I could be so happy, to many more!”

Clearly, Godwin and Barbour are still smitten with each other after Bachelor in Paradise. But unfortunately, Godwin recently revealed her wedding plans with Barbour have been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Before the pandemic, we began looking into venues, dates, etc.,” Godwin said in the above interview with Us Weekly. “But with the unknown state of everything, we’re putting things on pause and just enjoying being engaged.”
That said, the BIP alum hinted she knows where the big event will take place.
“The West Coast definitely has our hearts so we are thinking somewhere in California as a spot to tie the knot,” Godwin said.
She also confirmed members of Bachelor Nation will be invited to the wedding, including Chris Harrison.
“[Chris] been a huge part in our relationship so he can definitely get an invite,” Godwin said. Though she suggested the host may not be officiating. “Our engagement party included some of our closer friends from Bachelor Nation. So it wouldn’t surprise me if they got the invite. As for bridesmaids and groomsmen … stay tuned.”
Do Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour live together now?
When Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 wrapped in 2019, Barbour and Godwin said they wanted to move in together. However, the couple acknowledged they would be spending some time apart. Godwin worked in LA. Meanwhile, Barbour lived in San Diego. But after quarantining together amid the pandemic, Godwin and Barbour are ready to take the next step.
“I’ve been back and forth from my LA spot and Dylan’s San Diego place for a while now,” Godwin said. “Getting to spend more time in San Diego has definitely made me realize how much I love it. And getting to spend more time with Dylan makes me realize how much I love coffee in bed every morning.”
She added, “We are definitely on the hunt for a bigger San Diego place that we can both call home.”
