This BLACKPINK Member Isn’t Afraid to Go Camping Alone
After years of performing together, these idols know each other pretty well. For one YouTube video, Lisa, Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie discussed which member was most likely to go camping alone. Turns out, one of these BLACKPINK performers does it quite often.
Lisa has gone camping by herself
During one YouTube video, in conjunction with their Netflix-exclusive and original documentary, the BLACKPINK members sat down to talk about “which member would” do certain things. Rosé shared that she was most likely to cry during a sad movie.
Rosé and Jisoo decided that Jisoo was the best at playing video games. When Jennie was asked which member of the K-pop group would go camping alone, she was quick to point at Lisa. Without looking, Lisa started laughing, saying, “I go camping alone. It’s quite sad.”
This video earned over a million views in less than a day. Some fans of the performers even said they would love to go camping with Lisa. One comment that earned 30 likes said, “Who wants to go camping with Lisa?”
How else does Lisa unwind from working?
Being a K-pop idol is a lot of work, especially for BLACKPINK. Recently, the group released new songs and music videos, including the “Ice Cream” music video with Selena Gomez.
They collaborated with Lady Gaga for her album Chromatica and worked on a documentary for the streaming platform, Netflix. Aside from camping, Lisa does a few other activities to stay happy and healthy.
“Recently, my mom asked me this one question — if I was happy. Hearing that made me really happy. I don’t know why, but hearing it felt good,” Lisa said of de-stressing during an interview with ELLE Korea.
“I recently went through a tough time so I gave my cat a big hug,” Lisa said.” All my stress immediately went away, without me even knowing. I think cats may know stuff like that, when their owner is feeling upset. It made me feel a lot better.”
Lisa can also speak 4 (technically 5) languages
As the resident “language genius” of BLACKPINK, Lisa can speak 5 languages. Born in Thailand, she can speak Thai. Now living and working from South Korea, the performer can also speak Korean fluently. Additionally, she can speak English, Japanese, and basic Chinese, making her proficient in at least 4 languages.
Although Lisa is the “maknae,” or the youngest member of BLACKPINK, the other girls often credit her as the performer who can pick up the dance moves the fastest. She trained for five years before debuting alongside Rosé, Jisoo, and Jennie.
