Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani released a new duet together called “Nobody But You.” They have performed it multiple times, but the music video has yet to be released. Shelton has now released a teaser and the couple looks really close in their scenes together. Find out what was shown and more about their duet.
Blake Shelton said his new song with Gwen Stefani ties into his life
The couple is back with a new song. Shelton talked about what it was like to come across it and what it means to him.
“This was one of those songs where the more I heard it the more I fell in love with it,” he said according to CMT. “I also realized how important it is for me and where I am in my life, and I think that’s why Shane McAnally was trying to get it to me. It fits my story. I was about to go in and record when I decided that it needed Gwen on it because it is our song. I think it’s magic.
The country singer said the lyrics aren’t just about his own relationship. “The lyrics of that song are so on point, not just for me and Gwen, but I think for a lot of people,” he told Nashville Lifestyles. “The song is not a fairytale, but at the same time it’s the most epic, earth-rattling love song I’ve heard in a long time, because the lyrics are so honest and just say it how it is.”
The couple will perform the song at the Grammy Awards
Shelton and Stefani are no longer working together on The Voice. It was previously announced that Nick Jonas will be taking her chair for next season. However, fans will be able to see them performing together very soon.
It’s been announced that they will perform at the Los Angeles Staples Center on Music’s Biggest Night for the Grammy Awards. Shelton shared his own poster of it on Instagram with the caption, “Nobody but you, @gwenstefani, that I’d want to share this year’s @recordingacademy #GRAMMYs stage with! Tune-in Jan. 26th to watch our performance!”
A teaser of the music video was shared
Shelton shared a teaser of the music video on his Instagram page. He captioned it with, “Told y’all it was coming reaaal soon. #NobodyButYou @gwenstefani.” Stefani also shared it with the caption, “Eeeekk it’s coming!! Gx #nobodybutyou.”
The teaser shows Shelton walking in the dark woods with a dog. We then see Stefani in the woods turning around in a pink dress. The couple is then cuddling together on a leather couch and Stefani trying to get the dog to join them. Another clip shows the couple looking out at a body of water together. The last scene is of them in a restaurant together having a bite.
Fans are reacting to the cute video. “Omg omg omg!!!! This is gonna be amazing omg!!!!!!!!” one fan wrote on Stefani’s post. Another fan referenced Shelton previous song “”I’ll Name The Dogs” with “YOU NAME THE BABIES, AND I’LL NAME THE DOGS…”
Soon the full video will be available. The music video will be released on Jan. 21.
