Blake Shelton Says Gwen Stefani Will Be Dressing Him for Their Wedding: ‘I Never Pick My Own Clothes’
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani started dating in 2015, and they got engaged last October. Now the couple is in the process of planning their wedding.
Shelton and Stefani have shared some details about their upcoming nuptials here and there. Shelton recently revealed Stefani will be in charge of his wardrobe for the big day.

Stefani has taken the lead in the wedding planning, and Shelton is completely fine with that. He told USA Today that the wedding could be rather “classless” if he were in charge.
“If I was picking our meal, it would just literally be everything fried,” he joked. “French fries, chicken tenders, you know, all of that stuff. I think she knows that it would be a pretty classless wedding if I was in control.”
He added, ”I want her to do all of that stuff and handle it because it’s going to be great. She’s in the middle of planning the thing, and she’s always so mindful … of me. She’s like, ‘Hey, I don’t want to just take this thing over.’ I think she’s having a blast doing it. I mean, I know she’s having a blast doing it.”

Stefani will not just be in charge of the wedding itself, she will have a big say in Shelton’s wardrobe as well.
“I never pick my own clothes unless I’m doing one of these FaceTime calls with you and I put on a cap and shirt,” Shelton explained to USA Today. “But she picks my clothes for things like … something formal with the family. I never even pick my clothes for ‘The Voice.’ I have a girl that does that for me.”
He continued, “So, nobody lets me pick clothes. That’s not a Gwen wedding thing. That’s just in general.”
According to ET, Stefani also recently took to Instagram to share she was cleaning out Shelton’s closet. It’s clear Shelton does want Stefani’s opinions on how he dresses.

Ever since Stefani became famous in the 1990s, many people have been paying attention to her style. At the time, Stefani often dressed in edgy, rocker outfits made herself. Her clothes were bold, daring, and eye-catching. Since then, Stefani has transitioned into more mature, glamorous looks.
In the 2000s, Stefani started her own fashion line called L.A.M.B., which sold clothes inspired by styles from various countries like Japan and Jamaica. The line was a success. Hollywood stars like Paris Hilton and Hilary Duff often wore pieces from Stefani’s brand.
However, L.A.M.B. exists now only as an eyewear line, and Stefani has moved on to other projects, such as her Las Vegas residency and The Voice.
