‘Blue Bloods’: Are the Reagans Doomed When It Comes to Love?
Love doesn’t come easy for the Reagans on Blue Bloods. The family talked about their bad breakups at family dinner and it’s been revealed that the men might be doomed when it comes to relationships.
There is 1 Reagan couple left on ‘Blue Bloods’
The Reagan family is close, but love doesn’t always last for them. The show started with Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Linda (Amy Carlson) being the only married couple in the family. They also have two sons Jack (Tony Terraciano) and Sean (Andrew Terraciano).
Linda was sadly murdered and Danny sent the person who was responsible to prison. But the rest of the Reagans started off the show without a partner.
Frank ‘s (Tom Selleck) wife already died along with his mother who was married to Henry (Len Cariou). Erin (Bridget Moynahan) already started off divorced from Jack Boyle (Peter Hermann). Jamie (Will Estes) was previously engaged but ended up breaking up.
Luckily, he found love again with Eddie (Vanessa Ray). They got married at the end of season 9 and are now living their life as newlyweds. They’re now the only couple left on the show.
The Reagan men talked about their bad breakups
The episode, “Redemption” showed the Reagans having dinner together. Danny revealed Sean just experienced a breakup with a girl named Lisa. The family then talked about how the Reagan men tend to go through bad breakups.
Danny mentioned Jamie used to be with a woman named Gina from his law firm, who thought Jamie was going to propose. Erin also brought up that Danny was involved with a woman from Chicago and ghosted her on her birthday.
Frank’s past was also mentioned. He apparently dated a “bombshell” before getting married, but he refused to talk more about it.
Fans have been hoping that at least one more Reagan will find love. Their hope got stronger with the start of season 11.
Fans hope Danny will find love again
It looks like Danny has gotten some closure on Linda’s death. He has since grown closer to multiple women in his life.
He has worked with a medium named Maggie (Callie Thorne) multiple times. She gave him a message to Linda and encouraged him to stop wearing his wedding ring.
Danny was also flirting with a woman at work, but they broke things off when she was guilty of covering up for a criminal. Danny also still works with Baez (Marisa Ramirez).
Some fans are hoping they will fall in love like Jamie and Eddie. Danny recently invited Baez over to family dinner for the first time in “Triumph Over Trauma”. This was after she was hurt while searching for a criminal. It was certainly a step for them to grow closer. But the partners are still keeping things professional.
