‘Blue Bloods’: Danny and Baez Clash Over a Difficult Call He Made in the Field

Things aren’t OK between Danny and Baez
Fans have been hoping for a romantic relationship between Danny and Baez, but it looks like that plan might be delayed. This week, during Blue Bloods Season 11, Episode 6 (titled “The New Normal”), Danny and Baez clash over a call he made in the field. His decision didn’t go over well with Internal Affairs either.
We’re guessing this situation will put strain on Danny and Baez’s relationship for a while. Could this cause Baez to leave the department or ask for a different partner? Hopefully, Danny’s actions won’t permanently impact their relationship.
Who plays Baez on ‘Blue Bloods’?
Baez is played by actor Marisa Ramirez. She made her television acting debut in a 1997 episode of Port Charles in which she played the role of Gia Campbell. The following year, she played the character Liza in an episode of USA High.
In 2000, Ramirez landed a recurring role on the daytime drama General Hospital. She played Gia Campbell until 2002. Her next recurring role was on The Young and the Restless, in which she played the characters Carmen Mesta and Ines Vargas from 2006 to 2007. Ramirez made her film debut in the movie All Souls Day: Dia de los Muertos. She’s also known for her appearances in Mental, CSI: NY, and Body of Proof.
What’s going on between Danny and Baez?
At one point, it seemed like something might happen between Danny and Baez, but we’re not so sure anymore. During Blue Bloods Season 11, Episode 1 (titled “Triumph Over Trauma”), the partners were trapped in a suspected serial killer’s basement. They said they loved each other and shared some tender moments.
After that frightening ordeal, Danny and Baez seemed closer than ever. Baez was even invited to family dinner. It looked like things were finally moving forward. However, after that episode, their relationship seemed to go back to normal.
What happened last time on ‘Blue Bloods’
During Blue Bloods Season 11, Episode 5 (titled “Spilling Secrets”), Frank (Tom Selleck) and Henry (Len Cariou) are on shaky terms after Frank’s accountant tells him there seems to be something suspicious happening with Henry’s account. For at least more than a decade, Henry has been making payments to an unknown person. When Frank asks Henry about it, he gets irritated and tells him to back off.
Henry later confesses he had been making payments to a person he feels guilty about shooting. The person had to use a wheelchair after he was shot. The person he shot is dead now, but Henry continues to send money to his family.
