‘Blue Bloods’: Donnie Wahlberg Shares a Video of Him Having a Dance Break While Filming With Marisa Ramirez
The stars of Blue Bloods is still hard at work filming new episodes. Donnie Wahlberg doesn’t hide the fact that he likes to have fun on set. He tends to bring his co-stars into that which includes Marisa Ramirez, who plays Maria Baez. Watch the new video of them dancing and find out what he said about their characters growing this season.
Jennifer Esposito recently said she needed to be separated from Donnie Wahlberg on set of ‘Blue Bloods’
The actress previously played Jackie Curatola who was Danny Reagan’s partner on Blue Bloods. She was later fired and replaced, but she has good memories of working with Wahlberg.
“Again one of the best people I’ve worked with,” Jennifer Esposito said on People’s Couch Surfing. “We had so much fun. I think they needed to make us separate because that’s how much fun we had. We would be cracking up and dancing right before a take and then we’d be like ‘So did he do it?!'”
She said they were “dancing all the time.” Esposito went on to talk about why this was a good thing. “You’re on set so long especially doing a drama on TV like this. I mean you’re there long, long hours and he was wonderful,” she said.
Wahlberg shared a video of him dancing with Ramirez
Wahlberg tweeted a video of being in a car with Ramirez. They are listening and dancing to Rihanna’s “We Found Love.” They then were interrupted probably to go back to filming.
He captioned the video with “Happy Monday from the set of #BlueBloods! Make today great! #MondayMood#MondayMotivation@BlueBloods_CBS.” Fans are happily reacting to the post.
One fan wrote, “There goes Donnie again, being all distracted lol. Miss you!” Another fan replied, “Lol dance like the director isn’t watching…”
Wahlberg has talked about the growing connection between Danny and Baez
Season 10 of Blue Bloods might mean Danny Reagan could make a step to finding love again after the death of his wife. Wahlberg talked about his character’s connections with other women this season.
“They’ve definitely been flirting around with Danny,” he told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “I think his connection with Baez has been growing. I think the medium Maggie played by Callie Thorne has been building an interesting relationship with Danny.”
He went on to say, “So I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t look beyond the script that I’m doing right now. I never ask what’s going to happen next with Danny. I just like to show up and be surprised because I don’t want to anticipate anything. I’d just like to discover as I go.”
It doesn’t seem like the actor has any expectations for what will happen for his character in the future. He did talk about what he thinks fans are hoping for given his past.
“I think they want to see him happy,” he said. “But most importantly, they love him and Linda together and whatever comes along for him next needs to be something that honors their history and their relationship and the audience’s love of Amy Carlson’s character.”
Some fans are rooting for Baez and Danny to fall in love. If they don’t, at least they know the actors have fun being dance partners.
