Blue Ivy Carter Stuns Fans With Yet Another Skill up Her Sleeve — Halloween Makeup
There may be a makeup artist in the making at the Carter house. Thanks to one Instagram post from Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles-Carter, fans have a closer look at Blue Ivy Carter’s latest project.
Beyoncé’s eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, did her grandmother’s makeup for Halloween
She can sing and teach science. Recently, fans discovered that Blue Ivy can also do makeup. When Beyoncé’s mother visited her granddaughter, she let Blue Ivy did a scary, Halloween makeup design on her face.
“My Blue is a great makeup artist! She made me into Grandma Skeleton,” Knowles-Lawson captioned her Instagram photo. The post earned over 100,000 likes from fans, some commenting that Blue Ivy is a makeup artist in the making.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Blue Ivy showcased her many skills. When the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic started, Beyoncé’s mother shared a video of Blue Ivy explaining how soap keeps the bacteria away.
Prior to that, Blue Ivy appeared for one song off of Beyoncé’s The Lion King-inspired album, The Lion King: The Gift. She put her acting skills to the test for Beyoncé’s Disney+ exclusive visual album, Black Is King.
Tina Knowles-Lawson has spent some time with her granddaughter in recent months
Although they’re not exactly quarantined together, Beyoncé’s mother still visited her grandchildren. That includes the eldest of the Carter children, Blue Ivy, and the twins, Sir and Rumi Carter.
“Up until about six weeks ago, I was seeing them every day because we all got tested and we weren’t in contact with anyone, so I got to go over there every day. So when they left it was like withdrawal,” Knowles-Lawson said, according to People.
“And my oldest granddaughter told her mom, ‘Grandma is hugging us too much,’ when I first went around them. Because you just wanna touch ’em and you wanna hug ’em, so I’m going through that,” she continued.
Is Blue Ivy Carter going out for Halloween during 2020?
Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, always have a few Halloween costumes lined up. Sometimes, Blue Ivy Carter has a role in that costume. In 2014, Beyoncé dressed in full Rhythm Nation–era Janet Jackson regalia.
Blue Ivy appeared as Michael Jackson, wearing a red, heavily beaded, Sgt. Pepper–style military jacket and the iconic white glove.
In 2016, Beyoncé and Jay-Z dressed as Barbie and Ken and posted a picture to Instagram, with Blue Ivy wearing her own leather Barbie-themed jacket.
There’s no word regarding which costume these divas will sport this year. Maybe Blue Ivy will get a chance to show off her Halloween makeup skills again.
Music by Beyoncé and Blue Ivy, including “Brown Skin Girl,” is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and most major streaming platforms.
