Brad Pitt Is Reportedly Worried His Kids Might Band Together to Expose Him
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie haven’t been in good standing since their split in 2016. Their kids have been caught in the middle of their ongoing legal battle, but all signs point to them taking their mother’s side. Jolie has mostly remained quiet about specific details about their divorce, letting her lawyers and legal documents do the talking. If an insider is to be believed, however, Pitt has been much more worried about his six kids speaking up than his ex-wife.

Jolie and her kids haven’t directly addressed the controversy with Pitt. But a few of their kids have already distanced themselves from the Fight Club star by dropping the word Pitt from their names. It was reported that many of them don’t even speak to him anymore. According to sources, the attempted omission of his legacy hasn’t gone unnoticed. It dealt a hard enough blow to Pitt that he wanted to make amends immediately and resolve the legal dispute with his ex-wife.
“He’s sorry for everything that went down, and he knows he wasn’t a model husband or dad during the time they were together,” the insider said.
Pitt recently received his wish not too long ago. At least partially. USA Today revealed that the ex couple reached a divorce settlement on December, 31, 2024. However, the settlement is just a part of an ongoing process with no set deadline. It also remains to be seen if their truce will lead to any kind of reconciliation between Pitt and his kids. One insider believed some kind of resolution would be in Pitt’s best interest. According to the source, he lived in fear that his kids would spill some hot tea that could burn him in the end.
“This is a dark cloud hanging over Brad’s head. He can muzzle Angelina with his lawyers, but he can’t muzzle his own kids,” the source told InTouch.
“If these kids eventually do want to turn around and get the ultimate closure by laying it all out in the open and telling the world what they’ve been through, it’s going to be Brad’s worst nightmare and no doubt will be the ultimate humiliation for him,” they added. “He’s in a very tough spot because it’s not like he can even try and talk to them about it because that could only make things worse.”

Only time will tell if Pitt’s and Jolie’s kids will change their minds. So far, like their mother, they’ve taken a vow of silence on the topic, while only vaguely referencing the controversy indirectly. But another source claimed their kids insisted that Jolie do more mudslinging against their father.
“They have wanted her to speak up for herself, to defend herself over these years but she reminds them to focus on changing laws instead of telling public stories,” the source alleged to People.
Jolie’s stance on the issue aligns with the philosophy she’s been maintaining amid this years-long scandal.
“She’s been trying hard to be light after a dark time,” the source said. “The kids have grown up seeing that some people have so much power and privilege that their voices don’t matter. Their pain doesn’t count.”
In the past, Jolie credited her children for supporting her during these challenging couple of years.
“They have been through a lot. I learn from their strength,” she told USA Today. “As parents, we encourage our kids to embrace all that they are and all that they know in their hearts to be right, and they look back at us and want the same for us.”
“My children know my true self, and they have helped me to find it again and to embrace it,” she added.
