Brandi Glanville Slams Caroline Manzo Lawsuit, Claims Manzo Has ‘Buyer’s Remorse’
Caroline Manzo was set to appear on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Her involvement in the series was announced in January 2023, but months later, Manzo left filming early. The former reality TV star later came out and said Brandi Glanville, her co-star, had sexually assaulted her, and production stood by while it happened. The drama between Manzo, Glanville, and Bravo has now progressed to a lawsuit. Manzo is suing. While Glanville isn’t named in the lawsuit, she’s tired of the allegations. In the wake of Manzo’s most recent court filing, Glanville took to social media to accuse Manzo of lying about what happened between them. She even suggested Manzo had “buyer’s remorse.”
Caroline Manzo sues Bravo over an incident on the set of ‘The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip’
Caroline Manzo’s lawsuit against Bravo and several other companies is moving forward. Earlier this month, Page Six obtained a signed affidavit from Caroline Manzo’s lawsuit against Bravo, NBCUniversal, Shed Media, Forest Productions, Warner Bros. Entertainment, and Peacock TV. In the explosive court filing, Manzo accuses Bravo and the other named companies of plying talent with alcohol and failing to intervene during an incident Manzo asserts was a sexual assault.
Manzo said during the filming of The Real Housewives: Ultimat Girls Trip, Brandi Glanville, her co-star, sexually assaulted her. She alleged Glanville held her down on the couch and forcibly kissed her. She went on to accuse Glanville of cornering her in the bathroom and fondling her vagina without her consent, among other inappropriate behaviors. Manzo left filming early, and the season has been shelved for now. Glanville was not named as a defendant in the lawsuit, but she’s speaking out about it.
Brandi Glanville reacts to recent Caroline Manzo lawsuit news
Brandi Glanville has spent more than a year dealing with the fallout of Caroline Manzo’s sexual assault allegations, and apparently, she’s sick of it. Shortly after court documents were leaked to the media, Glanville took to X (formerly Twitter) to set the record straight. In a multi-post diatribe, Glanville claims there was no sexual assault. She accused Caroline Manzo of having “buyer’s remorse.” She even alleged the New Jersey native was an active and willing participant in the situation.
Glanville claims her history on reality TV should speak for itself. She noted in her rant that she spent 13 years on TV and had never had a complaint filed against her. However, fans have pointed out that Glanville was known for being physically forward with other cast members during her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Still, Glanville maintains that she did not assault Manzo as the court documents suggest.
This is not the first time Glanville has spoken out about the incident. In March 2023, shortly after news of the incident surfaced, she took to X (formerly Twitter) to discuss what happened. She insisted that production told her to “bring the party.” Glanville said that she felt as if she had been “set up.”
Will the season ever actually air?
It doesn’t look like fans will ever get the chance to judge the situation with actual footage. While the season was filmed, it appears it will never see the light of day. While neither Peacock nor Bravo have commented on the lost season’s fate, several Bravo stars have offered their theories. According to The Daily Beast, Vicki Gunvalson and Camille Myers both believe the show will never hit the streaming service provider.
Peacock and Bravo are less certain about that. Still, if the season does air, it will probably be long after the lawsuit is settled. There is no timeline associated with the lawsuit, and it could take years for Bravo and Manzo to come to an agreement. In short, fans shouldn’t expect to see the season soon, if ever.
