It’s another day and another lawsuit for reality TV juggernaut Bravo. While the network is still dealing with Caroline Manzo and Leah McSweeney’s sexual harassment lawsuits, Brandi Glanville is gearing up to file her own court case. Glanville recently revealed that she is seriously considering suing the network. She said she is considering filing suit for emotional distress that has left her “too swollen” to appear on Cameo and OnlyFans.

Brandi Glanville threatens to sue Bravo over emotional distress

Brandi Glanville took to X (formerly Twitter) this week to reveal her plans to sue Bravo. The former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is planning to file suit against the network after they booted her from The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip amid sexual assault allegations. Glanville says she is so stressed by the accusations that she cannot work anywhere.

Glanville isn’t just mad about losing a paycheck from Bravo. The reality TV star insists that she’s lost out on several income streams because of the emotional distress the network has caused her. In her posts on X, Glanville said that she has been unable to fulfill her work duties on OnlyFans and Cameo because she’s “too swollen” from stress-induced angioedema.

Glanville has alleged that the stress from Manzo’s accusations caused angioedema attacks several times since her filming on RHUGT was abruptly halted. In October 2023, Entertainment Tonight reported that a 911 call was made from Glanville’s house after she collapsed. It was later revealed that she collapsed due to significant swelling in her face. She was released a short time later.

Stress-induced angioedema is relatively common. According to the Mayo Clinic, most cases of angioedema are mild. Still, there are extreme cases. Extreme cases can be life-threatening if the throat is affected.

Brandi Glanville says she has the receipts

Glanville didn’t just insist she was seriously considering suing Bravo; she insisted that her case was airtight. Glanville says she has the receipts to prove that Bravo set her up to be the “fall guy” following Manzo’s accusations. She noted that she would love to share proof that she had done nothing wrong. She won’t share her proof just yet, as her lawyer has advised against it.

The network booted Glanville after Caroline Manzo alleged that the TV personality had sexually assaulted her during the filming of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Manzo was a newcomer to the series after appearing for several seasons on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Glanville, a The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, was a returning cast member.

The season, which was filmed in Morocco in 2022, has yet to air. A final decision about the season has yet to be announced. Still, several cast members have said they do not believe the public will ever see the footage. If the network were to air the season, it likely would not be for several years. The season likely would not be made available until after the lawsuit is settled. If Glanville does file suit, the season would likely be pushed back further. She has yet to file any official paperwork.
