Who Is Brandon Goss From ‘The Bachelorette’? Clare Crawley’s Contestant Might Make You Cringe
The Bachelorette cast may have impressed Clare Crawley on night one, but some contestants will have to kick it up a notch to stay another week. In the second episode, Brandon Goss will get some alone time with the lead. However, it seems the moment turns into an awkward encounter. So who is Brandon from The Bachelorette Season 16? Here’s what we know and what he says to Crawley.
Who is Brandon Goss from Clare Crawley’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’?
According to Brandon’s Bachelorette profile on ABC.com, the 28-year-old moved from Cleveland, Ohio to New York City. But it looks like this “Italian stallion” wants to move back home to settle down and start a family. Now, will Crawley be The One for Brandon? Apparently, the new reality star wants to date an older woman who is spontaneous and open to living life to the fullest.
Meanwhile, Bachelor Nation fans can find Brandon’s Instagram under the handle @brandonagoss. Brandon’s bio says he’s a luxury real estate agent at The Corcoran Group. He’s also a model for Select Model Management, which comes as no surprise if you scroll down his feed — aka his modeling portfolio on social media. But between the professional photos, Brandon added a simple promo to tease his appearance on The Bachelorette. However, the post doesn’t exactly indicate how far he gets on Crawley’s season.
Chris Harrison hints Brandon Goss might say something wrong to Clare Crawley on ‘The Bachelorette’
When Chris Harrison introduced the cast of The Bachelorette Season 16, the host gushed over Brandon’s “lethal good looks,” even noting he’s a “stunningly handsome guy.” But then Harrison hinted Brandon gets into it with Crawley.
“The thing with Brandon is… he says something to Clare that, well, he said it with good intentions. He meant well, and it seemed like a compliment. We’ll see if Clare took it that way. We’ll see how that plays out,” Harrison said. “I think there’s going to be some really strong opinions when it comes to Brandon and what he said and how Clare took it. Stay tuned.”
Of course, Brandon’s Bachelorette night one entrance didn’t exactly raise any red flags. When he met Crawley, he was the first one to kiss her on the cheek. He also told the lead she was beautiful, and he was excited she was the bachelorette.
“Honestly, I never imagined myself doing anything like this,” Brandon said in the premiere. “When I found out that you were gonna be the bachelorette, I said, ‘I have to be there.’”
But now, it looks like Brandon delivered the same line to Crawley in the second episode. On Oct. 20, The Bachelorette social media channels shared a clip of Brandon. Once again, the contestant said he had to be on the show after Crawley was announced as the lead. However, when the Sacramento hairdresser asked him why, Brandon was basically Prince Derek from The Swan Princess. He only commented on Crawley’s looks.
“First of all, you’re absolutely gorgeous,” Brandon said. “But other than that, to be honest with you, I don’t know, really, anything about you. I know that you’re from Sacramento. … I don’t know you on a personal level, I don’t know your history. You’re just so beautiful and I wanted to get to know you.”
In response, Crawley asked whether there was anything else he wanted to add. But Brandon said he didn’t have a “specific answer” for her. Later, the clip showed the cast member trying to weasel his way out of the conversation. “Can we not talk about that?” he said. And Crawley was shocked.
“Brandon can’t even think of one thing that he likes about me? Like why are you here?” she said in a confessional.
For now, things don’t look great for Brandon and Crawley on The Bachelorette. But fans will just have to wait and see what happens moving forward. New episodes air Tuesdays on ABC.
