Bravo Teases ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 9 With Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix Video
Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix will return when Vanderpump Rules comes back with season 9. The show had been postponed due to the pandemic and cast firings last year. With establishments opening back up in California, the new season of the Bravo reality series has started production and the cable network is teasing us with a new clip.
Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix are coming back
Two Vanderpump Rules stars that are returning to the show for season 9 are Sandoval and Madix. The couple has been one of the most solid ones on the show and they serve as the peacemakers of the group. Variety also recently reported that other cast members coming back include Lisa Vanderpump, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, and Raquel Leviss.
Since its been forever that viewers have seen the castmates, Bravo teased a cute little scene that involved Madix, Sandoval, and Shay. The scene is set at the couple’s Valley Village home. Shay is paying them a visit and telling them that she’s pregnant and has gained 40 lbs.
Madix and Sandoval greeted Shay with a plate of delicious pastries and compliment her on how beautiful she looks pregnant. Sandoval gets into the deep conversation asking what type of birth Shay is planning on having.
“Natural is obviously the goal,” Shay said.
Shay then reveals that she hasn’t gotten botox for the first time in ten years and she finally has expressions in her face. She then shows her co-stars how many faces she can make.
Bravo releases another sneak peek
A day before, the cable network had released another clip but this one featured Kent, her man, Schwartz, and Maloney. In the teaser, Kent says she’s proud of her body at 37 weeks pregnant. Randall Emmett is also in the scene asking Schwartz and Maloney if they were trying to get pregnant as well.
Maloney suggests her husband gets his sperm tested and Schwartz says that he’s been “laying off the hot tub.” Kent then makes another revelation about her man that nobody needed to hear.
At the end of the short clip, the cable network announces that the new season would premiere in the fall.
Jax Taylor is out
Late in 2020, Jax Taylor announced he was not going to move forward with Vanderpump Rules. The news surprised fans as weeks before he had expressed interest in starting to film the new season. Nonetheless, he confirmed on Instagram that he and his wife Brittany Cartwright were done with the reality series that gave them fame.
“The last 8 years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding, and fulfilling years of my life,” Taylor posted on Instagram announcing his exit. “Although this is difficult to share, Brittany and I will not be returning for another season of Vanderpump Rules. We are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors.”
Cast members you won’t see in the new season also include Stassi Schroeder, her boyfriend Beau Clark, Kristen Doute, Brett Caprioni, Max Boyens, and Dayna Kathan who just recently announced she was also leaving.
Vanderpump Rules Season 9 is expected to premiere in the fall of 2021.
