Bravo’s Craig Ramsay Slams Lea Michele; Says She Is ‘a Despicable, Horrible Human Being’
Craig Ramsay from Bravo‘s Newlyweds The First Year and Jackie Warner’s Thintervention says he wishes he never had to hear Lea Michele’s name.
Ramsay recalled his experience of working with Michele on Broadway and struggled to find anything pleasant to say about her. “I just I didn’t wanna hear Lea Michele’s name in this interview at all,” he told David Yontef on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast.
“I just think she’s a despicable, horrible human being,” he said. Adding, I think she has lost touch with reality. We were in Fiddler [On the Roof] together. Rosie [O’Donnell] is awesome. Rosie and I still talk to. She’s a huge mentor to me and I respect how she’s been able to thrive and survive in all the nonsense that has been tossed to her.”
Craig Ramsay says Lea Michele became entitled after ‘Glee’
“But as far as Lea Michele is concerned, I think she’s one of the most entitled people I’ve ever come across in this business,” he says. Ramsay confirms that he worked with her during Glee.
“I’m talking after Glee,” he continues. “I’m there basically after she got the phone call of ‘I got Glee‘ and I think the entitlement took over her body. And from that moment and on … She moved to LA at the same time I did. I cared for her greatly. But then the amount of entitlement that came right at that moment, I’ve never seen the likes.”
“Especially, Broadway, it’s like you can’t mess with Broadway,” he adds. “You can get a really bad reputation really quick if you don’t respect where you came from. And she’s talented but none of that means anything if people don’t want to work with you.”
Ramsay also didn’t have the kindest words for Jeana Keough from ‘RHOC’
Ramsay shared that the met his husband on the set of Bravo’s Thintervention, starring Jackie Warner. Jeana Keough from The Real Housewives of Orange County was a contestant and predicted Ramsay and husband Brandon Liberati would marry. Ramsay and Keough became close friends. But they recently had a falling out after he discovered she was a huge Trump supporter. “She’s such a huge disappointment,” he said.
But on Thintervention, Ramsay said he always admired Jackie Warner. He ended up being her co-host on the show and said they balanced each other on the series. But she was definitely in the driver’s seat during the series. They met prior to the show and she let him know his role and there was a line he should not cross during filming. She told him, “‘You’re going to respect me,’ and gave it to me,” he said.
They ended up becoming fast friends. “I get her, she represents so many people, from my past and we were in love. I really did think the world of her. And our relationship came before any kind of show,” he said. But he added, “She’s harsh, she’s exactly what you see on TV. She had me eliminated from the press release of my own show contractually.” This meant he couldn’t do press for the show.
