Bravo’s ‘Timber Creek Lodge’: Are Mark Milburn and Jenna Gillund Still Together?
Jenna Gillund and Mark Milburn from Bravo’s Timber Creek Lodge may have taken the job at the resort to exceed the guests’ expectations. But instead, the two ended up in a romance that extended after the show ended.
Similar to shows like Below Deck and Camp Getaway, Timber Creek Lodge followed a group of hospitality professionals and their guests at a five-star mountain cabin retreat. The series only earned one season but wove the same elements of drama and fun as the hit series Below Deck.
A major tease throughout the season was the romance between Milburn and Gillund. Milburn shared that while the couple tried to make their relationship work after the show, they went their separate ways.
They have different goals
Milburn opened up about the relationship after the season wrapped. “Jenna and I actually worked on our relationship following the show,” Milburn shared with Bravo’s The Daily Dish in 2018. “So we spent six months together long distance. I would travel down to L.A., and she’d come up to Vancouver. And we got to learn more about each other outside of the show. It was awesome.”
While he had nothing but kind words to say about Gillund, Milburn admits the two simply have different life goals. “We just recognized after we got more time together that we just were slightly different people and wanted different things at that point in our lives,” he shared. “Jenna is all about family and wants to have that now, and I’m really pursuing my career.
“I love guiding and being in the mountains,” he added. “And so, it was just difficult. I didn’t want to move to L.A., she didn’t want to move to Canada, but I respect her as a person, and I think she’s an incredible person.”
Not together but still friends
He adds that the experience of being on the show bonded them as friends. “I think after working together in the lodge this season, we got to know a lot about each other through that experience, and we can share that experience,” he said. “And so because of that, we trust each other a lot. We know we’re not gonna stab each other in the back.”
“As much as we may have had those experiences in the show, in real life, we want to support one another,” he concluded. “So no, I’d say we’re definitely friends. I’m grateful for that opportunity to have actually made a new friend out of the show.”
Millburn may have found love. He recently shared a photo on Instagram with “the best quarantine partner.” His partner is Chelsey Reist, Canadian actress, known for her role as Harper McIntyre in The CW’s The 100.
Gillund is studying to be a dental hygienist, spending plenty of time with friends and family.
