Britney Spears’ Assistant Used to Be in a Popular Band
Britney Spears has had a lengthy career in show business, and over the years, several artists and bands have come and gone. In late 2021, she regained her freedom after her 13-year conservatorship was terminated. In the time since then, she’s surrounded herself with people who have her best interest at heart, including a loving assistant.

In late 2021, Spears hired Victoria Asher as part of her team, and has referred to her as her “assistant” on social media. Asher herself has a history in the music industry: her stage name is Vicky T, and she was the keytarist of the popular band Cobra Starship until the group’s disbandment in 2015.
Vicky left college to join Cobra Starship when she was just 18 years old.

In the late 2000s and early 2010s, Cobra Starship released hit songs including “You Make Me Feel…” and “Good Girls Go Bad.” When Vicky looks back on her time in the band, she has fond memories of her time in the spotlight.
“It was totally life-changing. If I could re-live it all again I would,” she said of the experience, according to TheThings. “I was always very shy growing up and insecure, joining the band helped me find my voice, break out of my shell and finally have confidence.”
“I was proud every minute of what we were doing and am still amazed at how far we went,” she continued. “I miss being a part of the band every day. I miss the fans, the feeling of being on stage, I miss the close family-like relationship the boys and I had.”
“I am determined to get us back together at some point,” she added.
Vicky T’s love of music dates back to childhood
Vicky didn’t just happen to fall into music when she was a young adult; she’s been a lover of music since she was a child. She credits her family for fostering such a creative environment at home.
“My father has always worked in music, and as a result, my parents traveled around a lot and took me with. I think that lifestyle of moving around prepared me for so many years of touring,” she revealed in an interview with All Access. “It felt like second nature once I joined the band. I also grew up in a household where music was constantly playing. I was introduced to incredible films, books and artists and I think that certainly influenced my work. I became fascinated with all art forms and pursued them with particular emphasis on film and music.”
Britney loves having Vicky as an assistant
Today, Vicky spends much of her time with Britney Spears. In a post on her Instagram, Spears shared a photo of the two embracing in a pool, with Spears going topless. “Me naked in the pool and my assistant Vicky T holding me like a baby,” she captioned the photo.
Spears has a special place in Vicky’s heart, with the former Cobra Starship singer sharing photos of them together on her Instagram often. “She’s a shining light,” she captioned one post. “Nothing but love for this special human.”
