In the years that followed, she released five more hit records and went on six concert tours by 2008. Her Las Vegas residency grossed $137.7 million. She delivered another four albums and four more world tours. However, in 2021, Britney Spears’ net worth is only $60 million. 

Spears’ spending isn’t the problem. After several public breakdowns, a judge granted the pop star’s father, Jamie Spears, a conservatorship over her personal affairs and finances in 2008. The excessive amount she pays in legal fees for the conservatorship is not helping her net worth.

Christina Aguilera has a higher net worth than Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson

Although Jessica Simpson has not sold nearly as many tickets or albums as Spears, the pop star has a higher net worth than her peer. Simpson’s net worth in 2021 is $110 million, almost double Spears’.

Aguilera is the winner of the group of ’90s pop icons with a net worth of $130 million in 2021. However, Simpson says there is no competition between the three stars.

“I think everybody’s careers have their own unique stories, and I love that Britney owns herself, Christina owns herself, and they don’t let the world control them,” she said. “They just are themselves, and that’s who I am as well.”

Although things were very competitive when they both arrived on the scene, Simpson believes there is enough to go around. All three are still doing very well for themselves, even if Spears is far behind.
