BTS: ‘In the SOOP’ Reveals Jungkook Has a Dog
On Oct. 15, the second season of In the SOOP BTS Ver. premiered. In the new season of the reality show, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook of BTS travel to a mansion in a secluded forest to enjoy a vacation. The first episode of the new season of In the SOOP BTS Ver. revealed that Jungkook has a dog named Bam, and he decided to bring his dog with him to film the TV show.
Jungkook’s dog took part in ‘In the SOOP BTS Ver.’
Season 2 of In the SOOP BTS Ver. takes place over the course of four days. In the first episode, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook discuss what kind of relaxing activities they want to do during their brief vacation. Jungkook mentioned that he wanted to bring his dog Bam along.
“I wish I could take my dog with me,” Jungkook said. “Bam is at a training center right now. I need to visit him every now and then. He’s a Dobermann. He’s very handsome.”
After requesting to bring his dog, Jungkook brought Bam on the trip, surprising some of the BTS members.
“When did he grow so big?” RM asked.
“Can I ride Bam?” J-Hope joked.
“He’s not that big,” Jungkook replied.
Throughout season 2 episode 1 of In the SOOP BTS Ver., fans were able to see Jungkook take care of his dog, adding even more wholesomeness to the show.
BTS fans love Jungkook’s dog
After the In the SOOP episode premiered, “Jungkook” began trending on Twitter as fans discussed the BTS’ member’s pet. Until the episode aired, fans of the band were unaware Jungkook had Bam in the first place.
“I only just started watching but I am already a big fan of Bam! I think Bam is my bias now,” one fan wrote on Reddit.
Another fan wrote on Reddit, “I haven’t stopped thinking about jungkook and bam all day!! Every scene was so endearing. The way he was taking care of him, training him, and loving him. My heart has melted into two!”
“And how could I not mention Bam, still haven’t got my head around it that Jungkook’s got a dog and brought him along too. Love how they included so many clips of him training him, so cute lmao,” a Reddit user wrote.

During In the SOOP, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook of BTS vacation together in secluded locations. The first season of In the SOOP BTS Ver. was filmed in 2020 at a rented lake property.
For the second season of In the SOOP BTS Ver., the band members stayed at a cluster of mansions in a forest with a pool, basketball court, tennis court, computer lab, and more.
New episodes of In the SOOP BTS Ver. premiere on JTBC at 9 p.m. KST and on Weverse at 10 p.m. KST each Friday.
