If BTS’ J-Hope Were a Fruit, Here’s His Sweet Take On Which He Would Be
He’s your hope, and you’re his hope. When it comes to what fruit the rapper and songwriter, J-Hope, would become, this BTS member’s answer makes sense.
Here’s what J-Hope said during his seven-second interview, in connection with the K-pop group’s album, Be (Deluxe Edition.)
J-Hope is one of the rappers and dancers in BTS
He loves hamburgers, Sprite, and the BTS ARMY. J-Hope is one of the rappers in BTS, as well as the lead dancer and one of the songwriters. He appears in the music videos for songs like “Boy With Luv” and the Grammy-nominated single, “Dynamite.”
On the album Map of the Soul: 7, J-Hope appeared on the solo song, “Outro: Ego.” His song “Just Dance” appeared on Love Yourself: Answer. Thanks to the album, Be (Deluxe Edition,) BTS fans learned which fruit J-Hope would be.
J-Hope said if he were a fruit, he’d be an apple
In conjunction with BTS’ 2020 release, Be (Deluxe Edition,) the idols appeared in the seven-second interview, where they gave brief responses to random questions. For J-Hope, that meant demonstrating his favorite emojis and discussing if he would become a fruit, which one would he be.
“For me, apple,” J-Hope said, according to a translation on the video. “Something fresh that opens up the day in the morning.”
Of course, this interview also discussed BTS’ album and the members’ roles in the creative process. In addition to performing on songs like “Telepathy” and “Blue & Grey,” J-Hope helped write several songs off of Be (Deluxe Edition,) including the title track, “Life Goes On.”
Outside of his work with the K-pop group, J-Hope also releases solo music under the same stage name. That includes his mixtape, Hope World, and his recently released single with Becky G, titled “Chicken Noodle Soup.” (He later appeared in a music video for the track.)
Some BTS members, including Jin, share their love for food
Although he was one of the few members who had a fruit-related question during his seen-second interview, J-Hope isn’t the only BTS member who shared his love for food. Jin even created the live stream series, “Eat Jin,” where he would chat with BTS fans while enjoying a meal.
Recently, Jimin, RM, and Jin made a salad while live streaming with ARMYs. While visiting The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the BTS members even made pastrami sandwiches and sampled the New York City staple. Jimin even gifted Jin a cake for his birthday one year.
The “Dynamite” music video is now available on YouTube. Music by BTS, including their recently released album, Map of the Soul: 7, is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major platforms.
