BTS: Jimin Encourages People to Reach Out to Those ‘Precious’ to Them
Everyone knows that Jimin of BTS is a total sweetheart. The singer always reminds ARMY to take care of themselves and put themselves first. Recently on Twitter, the BTS singer encouraged fans to wear masks to protect themselves during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and to use this time to reach out to people who are “precious” to them.
Jimin told fans to reach out to others
On May 8, Jimin tweeted from BTS’s shared Twitter account. The BTS singer shared a selfie and encouraged fans to reach out to those “precious” to them first.
“Recently, I’ve been spending time with people who are precious to me Everyone, if you have someone who comes to mind as well, how about reaching out to them first today? #BOTD #BTS_OF_THE_DAY #JIMIN,” the singer tweeted according to a fan translation.
In another tweet, Jimin shared two selfies and encouraged fans to wear masks while out in public.
“Even though it might be uncomfortable, please do wear a mask when heading out! #JIMIN,” he tweeted according to a fan translation.
BTS fans love Jimin’s caring personality
After Jimin’s compassionate tweets, fans took his advice to heart. ARMY also expressed how much they respect Jimin’s kind and thoughtful attitude.
“Ok, so Jimin, I just phoned my parents (my precious people) because of your kind reminder, and I had the sweetest conversation with them via FaceTime. Thank you, Jimin, for encouraging me to do this. I feel so happy to have connected with them, even from a distance…,” a BTS fan replied to Jimin’s tweet.
“Darling sweetheart. Always so thoughtful,” a fan tweeted about Jimin.

The members of BTS are making a new album
On April 17, RM held a livestream on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel. During his livestream, he revealed that BTS is making a new album, and that they will be sharing details about the production process with fans.
“To be honest, I’m not sure if I’m supposed to be talking so casually like this but— As many of you probably expected, our album is going to come out. We’ve decided to prepare for a new album, so we’ve started preparations… We’ve kicked it off,” RM said. “We’ll be sharing the process of preparing and stuff, which is a first. I’m a bit torn about how much we should show— But we’ll be trying to show you some of the processes that we go through together, from now on…”
Suga shared more details about the album in a YouTube Live on April 24. During his livestream, he told fans that BTS will self-produce the album, with each member taking on a different role. Jimin held a YouTube Live on May 1 and revealed that he is a production manager on the upcoming album.
“So we picked Project Managers and I’ve been picked as the music PM this time,” Jimin told fans. “Suga had a strong opinion about it… Suga’s opinion then was that, by doing this kind of work, he hoped that I could, kind of, get a little closer to the music.”
