BTS: Jimin Once Again Proves He Is a Slytherin on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’
From Sept. 28 to Oct. 2, BTS had a residency on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Korean band performed every night on the show, and the members were also interviewed by Fallon and participated in comedic games. During BTS’ 2020 appearances on the talk show, Jimin proved once and for all that he is a Slytherin.
The BTS members’ Hogwarts houses
Back in 2017 at a fansign, RM placed himself, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook into Hogwarts houses when a fan asked him to. RM said that he would be in Gryffindor with Jin, J-Hope and V belong in Hufflepuff, Jungkook would be in Ravenclaw, and both Jimin and Suga are Slytherins.
If anyone watches Run BTS!, there is no question that Jimin is a Slytherin. While he is trusting of his bandmates, he loves deceiving people, and he has no problem getting revenge if he feels like he has been wronged. Combined with how ambitious he is, Jimin is a Slytherin through and through.
Jimin cheated on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ in February
We stan a man who decides to change the rules of a game to fit what he wants. On Feb. 24, BTS took over an episode of The Tonight Show. Fallon interviewed the group, they played games together, visited Katz’s Deli, and BTS performed “ON” in Grand Central Terminal.
During the episode, BTS played a series of tournament games called “Subway Olympics” with Fallon in a subway car. For the first challenge, they had to knock a rubber duck off of their opponent’s hand. Those who advanced to the next round competed to see who could shake off gloves and sunglasses the fastest.
Jungkook and Jin advanced to the final round, the Post-it Challenge. For the challenge, Jimin, Suga, and J-Hope stuck Post-it notes on Jungkook and Fallon, RM, and V stuck Post-it notes on Jin. The teams had 15 seconds to place as many Post-it notes as possible. Jungkook ended up winning because Jimin cheated and continued placing Post-it notes on him even after the time ended.
Jimmy Fallon called out BTS’ Jimin for cheating
On Oct. 1, BTS continued their tournament-style games from February and played “Zoom Olympics” with Fallon. The first challenge was called The Groundhog Challenge, and whoever popped their head in frame the most times within 15 seconds won.
For the second round, players had to stack and balance as many TV remotes as possible. Jimin went up against Jungkook, and Fallon caught Jimin trying to balance the remotes with his other hand.
“Jimin, you’re such a cheater,” Fallon laughed.
Jimin proceeded to drop the remotes on the ground and then struck a pose for the camera. Jungkook moved on to the next round and ended up winning the entire “Zoom Olympics” after beating RM.
It seems that after Jimin cheated in the “Subway Olympics,” Fallon caught on to the BTS singer’s Slytherin ways. He did not seem that surprised that Jimin tried to cheat on national TV, again.
