BTS: Jimin Posts Photos on Twitter Proving He Does Not Have Orange Hair but Fans Are Not Convinced
It was a big day for BTS fans. In a VLIVE, the group announced that they will be releasing a new summer single on Aug. 21, 2020. After the VLIVE, Jimin posted photos on Twitter showing off his black hair. However, some fans are convinced that Jimin’s hair will be orange for BTS’s upcoming comeback.

In the early hours of July 27 in KST, BTS released a radio program on VLIVE. Jin, Jungkook, and Jimin were the members who started the radio program, and V, J-Hope, Suga, and RM later joined in.
During the VLIVE, the members revealed they will be releasing a new single featuring English lyrics. According to the members, the song will be similar to two of their collaborations with Steve Aoki, “Waste It On Me” and “MIC Drop.” The members want to release the song as quickly as possible to bring positive energy to fans amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
After BTS dropped the news, Big Hit Entertainment posted an announcement on the fan platform Weverse alerting fans of the upcoming song and released a press release to media.

Fans think Jimin will have orange hair for BTS’s comeback
HYYH stands for “Hwa Yong Yeon Hwa” and is BTS’s The Most Beautiful Moment in Life era. The HYYH era also kicked off the BTS Universe, a series of music videos and short films where the members of BTS are characters connected through different story lines. For a few weeks, fans have speculated that BTS will return to the HYYH era for their new album and the album’s music videos will show the BTS Universe.
Because the members posted a voice recording versus a video livestream, fans assumed that the BTS members were hiding that their hair has changed for the comeback.

After the VLIVE, the BTS members posted photos of all of them together. In the photos, Jimin is wearing a hat, but the ends of his hair are noticeably black.

Another fan tweeted, “Jimin spray-dyed his ends black and put on a hat to trick us! Don’t be fooled his hair is orange!!”
Jimin then posted photos on BTS’s shared Twitter account showing off his black hair. ARMY was not easily fooled, and pointed out that in the group photo, Jimin is wearing a different shirt, contacts, and does not have earrings on. Because of this, some fans suspect Jimin posted old photos to try and trick fans that his hair is still black.

One Twitter user wrote, “WAIT PAUSE. JIMINS SELCAS ARE FROM A DIFFERENT DAY. HES NOT WEARING THE SAME SHIRT. THEREFORE ORANGE JIMIN????????”
