When it comes to music, many of our favorite musicians and artists are fans of each other or, at the very least, inspired by each other’s sound. It turns out that BTS’s ARMY and Beyoncé‘s Beyhive adore each other.

In fact, after meeting Beyoncé and Jay-Z in person, Jimin revealed that he and the rest of BTS were beyond delighted.

BTS’ ARMY and Beyoncé’s Beyhive collaborated for a music streaming party

Two fandoms who don’t play games when it comes to their artists are BTS’ ARMY and Beyoncé Beyhive. Typically, there can be a ton of competition between fan groups and artists when it comes to fandom. However, there is nothing but love between the Beyhive and the ARMY.

Back in 2018, just as BTS’ popularity was soaring in America, Billboard reported that the fandoms united to play their respective artists’ songs. Using the hashtags #ARMYHiveStreamingParty and #ArmyHiveProject, the fandoms elevated streaming for both artists while introducing each another to respective singles and albums they may not have heard previously.

Since Beyoncé and BTS’ fans are some of the largest and most active, it was lovely to see such comradery in the music industry that is often very competitive and cut through.

This is Beyoncé’s favorite BTS song

Beyoncé loves listening to new music to draw inspiration for her own ideas and sounds and remain current and up-to-date with the music scene and what other artists are putting out.

Over the past several years, BTS’s popularity has expanded well-beyond Korea, and the band is now a global phenomenon. Therefore, it’s only natural that the Black Is King icon would be aware of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, and V. Not only has Queen Bey listened to BTS’ music, she also has a favorite song from their body of work.

According to producer SleepDeez via Somag News, not only has Beyoncé listened to BTS’ music, but she also has a favorite song, “My Time,” from their album, Map of the Soul 7. On the album, each BTS member has a separate solo song, “My Time,” which happens to be Jungkook’s. To hear that Beyoncé praised it so highly must have been more than thrilling to him.

Jimin was starstruck after meeting Beyoncé and Jay-Z

The BTS ARMY aren’t the only fans of Beyoncé. Jimin talked about being absolutely starstruck when BTS met the singer and Jay-Z for the very first time.

On the Grammy 2020 red carpet back in Jan. 2020, Jimin spoke up about the most exciting people he’d met that year. The Metro reported, “Run DMC and, of course, Mr. Carter and Mrs. Carter.” Obviously, BTS was so delighted by the intro that Jimin couldn’t deal with calling the Everything is Love artists by anything but their last names.

Like Jimin, fans literally lost it at the news of the intro. “IM GONNA NEED THE VIDEO,” one fan tweeted. Another responded, “BTS probably signed an NDA when they met Beyoncé and JayZ.” One fan even predicted, “BEYONCE/Jay-Z X BTS COLLAB COMING SOON.”
