BTS: Jimin Stuns With Black Hair in a New VLIVE With RM

Jimin frequently dyes his hair different colors, but black hair is always a superior look for Jimin. On April 14, Jimin of BTS hosted a VLIVE livestream with a surprise guest. RM joined Jimin for the broadcast, but that was not the only exciting surprise. The first thing BTS fans noticed during the VLIVE was that Jimin had long black hair.

Jimin’s black hair always stands out

The last time Jimin sported black hair was during the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour. Jimin shocked ARMY when his hair was black instead of pink like it had been for Map of the Soul: Persona promotions. Fancams from BTS’s first Rose Bowl tour date were then uploaded to social media on May 4, 2019, sending a shock wave throughout the fandom.

“JIMIN HAS BLACK HAIR!! THIS AINT A DRILL. ROSE BOWL SOUND CHECK,” one fan tweeted about the concert.

Jimin then debuted gray hair for BTS’s Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final] in Seoul. However, to this day fans still remember how shocked they were when Jimin walked out onstage with black hair at the first Rose Bowl concert.

BTS fans were quick to notice Jimin’s black hair on VLIVE

On April 14, Jimin returned to VLIVE to spend some time talking with fans. He titled the livestream “Today’s guest is?” As soon as the broadcast started, it was like the first Rose Bowl concert all over again on Twitter.

“BLACK HAIR JIMIN ENTHUSIASTS THIS IS SUCH A WIN,” wrote a fan on Twitter.

“JIMINS HAIR JIMINS HAIR JIMINS HAIR JIMINS HAIR JIMINS HAIR JIMINS HAIR JIMINS HAIR JIMINS HAIR JIMINS HAIR JIMINS HAIR,” one fan tweeted.

“BLACK HAIR JIMIN IS SUPERIOR! #JIMIN,” tweeted a fan.

“JIMIN IS BACK TO BLACK HAIR. I REPEAT, JIMIN IS BACK TO BLACK HAIR,” wrote a Twitter user.

At the start of the VLIVE, Jimin told viewers there would be a special guest.

“In fact, today, I have a special guest. We agreed to go live together. So… I have this guest today. This guest was supposed to come here and start this at 5 p.m.,” he said. “13 minutes later… He’s not here yet.”

While waiting for the surprise guest, Jimin explained that he dyed his hair black.

“I changed my hair color four days ago? Three days ago,” Jimin said. “I dyed my hair black. For the time being, it may be hard to try bright hair colors… In fact, I planned to cut my hair, but I’ll do that a bit later.”

Once the guest was ready, Jimin did a drum roll with his hands on the table.

“Hello! Hello! Hello!” RM said once he came into view of the camera. He then told fans that he and Jimin were going to make something “delicious.”

Together the two of them made dalgona coffee. RM proved to be good at mixing the ingredients together, but when Jimin first tried his he could only taste the milk. The two then said they would come up with different activities to entertain fans.

“I’ll be back soon, even if the content is not something major,” RM said.

Jimin replied, “You should do this more often… The fans miss you.”
