Jimin often shares his love for fashion and music
For BTS’ performance on MTV’s Unplugged segment, Jimin wore a Gucci bomber jacket while singing “Telepathy” off of Be (Deluxe Edition.) Recently, BTS became brand ambassadors for the fashion house Louis Vuitton.
“I sometimes get inspired by BTS stage [garments] and often get some styling ideas from other BTS members,” Jimin said during a 2017 interview with Paste Magazine. “It really depends on how your day goes.”
During a 2020 video interview with GQ, Jimin shared that he also takes inspiration from the boy band’s fan base, called the BTS ARMY.
“It’s because I think ARMY inspires me in every aspect of my life,” Jimin said, according to a translation on the video. “It’s because they’re my reason for life. I think it’s like a mirror that can reflect me in a light or in-depth way.”
“It’s similar to what Suga said,” he continued. “I tried hard to become friendly, sensitive, and warm as they are. I think you should have confidence. Trust that you are already as stylish and amazing as the heroes you are inspired by.”
