BTS’ Jungkook Actually Goes to Sleep Around 4 A.M. — ‘I Have a Lot To Think About’
Jungkook has “a lot to think about.” As a result, BTS’ “Golden Maknae” shared a pretty late bedtime. Here’s what Jungkook said about his favorite time of night and what time he usually falls asleep.
Jungkook is BTS’ ‘Golden Maknae’ — singing on songs ‘Permission to Dance’ and ‘Butter’
The BTS members often have a busy schedule, especially regarding their sold-out world tours and writing/recording sessions. That includes Jungkook, the “Golden Maknae” of the group, who sings solo songs like “My Time” and appears on group numbers like “Permission to Dance.”
Jungkook makes time for other activities, including hanging out with his dog and painting. This artist also shared a glimpse into his nightly routine, revealing that he often goes to sleep well after midnight.
BTS’ Jungkook goes to sleep long past midnight
Jungkook is known for his unique personality and night owl tendencies, as are most BTS members. During an interview with GQ Magazine, Jungkook was asked what time he would be if he could pick an hour that best represented him. The singer chose 2 A.M.
“For me, at least,” Jungkook said. “I sleep around 4 A.M., you see, and 2 A.M. is that time of night when I can’t decide whether to do something or just go to bed. My life is like that right now. I have a lot to think about. What I should do, and practical things too. Yes. That’s why I’d be 2 A.M.”
Sometimes during these late-night adventures, Jungkook chats with fans on Weverse. Other times, this artist will hop on a V Live stream, singing for ARMYs across the globe. Most BTS members share insight into their nighttime activities, including Jimin, who made running and listening to music a part of his nightly routine.
According to Amino Apps, J-Hope is the member with the most consistent sleep patterns when it comes to morning routines. The rapper often wakes up around 8 A.M. According to K-pop Map, as the group leader, RM is typically the member who wakes up first.
Several BTS songs have themes surrounding time, including Jungkook’s ‘My Time’
Time is a big theme in BTS’ music, especially with the Map of the Soul: 7 track “00:00 (Zero O’Clock).” The “Zero O’Clock” referred to during this song is midnight, when new opportunities are presented by starting a new day.
Also on Map of the Soul: 7 is Jungkook’s solo song “My Time,” which could refer to a person’s relationship with their significant other or an idol’s rise from obscurity to fame.
“A Brand New Day” features BTS members J-Hope and V alongside Zara Larsson. The BTS World Official Soundtrack song discusses overcoming and conquering fear. Of course, Jungkook also makes time to create his own solo music, with ARMYs expecting news regarding his mixtape.
