BTS: Jungkook Will Be Able to Attend the 2022 Grammy Awards
Jungkook is officially able to attend the 2022 Grammy Awards with his fellow BTS members. Because the BTS singer tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) after arriving in Las Vegas, it was unclear if Jungkook would be able to attend the award show. On April 2, Big Hit Music published a new Weverse announcement to let fans know that Jungkook has recovered from the coronavirus and was cleared to attend the 2022 Grammy Awards.

On April 2, Big Hit Music posted a new announcement on Weverse. The Weverse announcement let ARMY know that Jungkook “made a full recovery” after originally testing positive for the coronavirus.
The beginning of the Weverse announcement reads:
“We would like to inform you that BTS member Jung Kook has made a full recovery from COVID-19 and his quarantine has concluded as of Saturday, April 2 (PT).
Jung Kook has been under self-quarantine and administering self-treatment since last Sunday, March 27 (PT), and in accordance with the guidelines of health authorities in the United States, Jung Kook can resume his daily activities from today. He experienced a slight sore throat during the quarantine but he has made a recovery from it.”
Jungkook will be able to attend the 2022 Grammy Awards
Jungkook originally tested positive for the coronavirus after arriving in Las Vegas for the upcoming Grammy Awards. The BTS singer traveled ahead of his other bandmates on a separate flight.
The 2022 Grammy Awards are set to take place on April 3. Because Jungkook tested positive for the coronavirus so close to the event, it was uncertain if he would be able to attend and perform with BTS.
In the Weverse announcement, Big Hit Music confirmed that Jungkook will be at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
“Upon conclusion of the quarantine, Jung Kook took a rapid antigen test in the United States to join the schedule for the Grammy Awards. The result came back negative, and the awards organizer has approved of his Grammy Awards participation,” wrote Big Hit Music.
BTS will perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards
The 2022 Grammy Awards will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. At the award show, BTS are nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song “Butter.”
In addition to being nominated, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook of BTS will be performing at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy announced BTS in the first round of performers, making the band’s performance highly anticipated. With all seven members of BTS now able to attend the Grammy Awards, the septet’s performance is sure to be one of the biggest of the night.
