They’re smooth like “Butter,” but their sauces are somewhat spicy, with one having a bit of sweetness. The BTS Meal includes two sauces new to McDonald’s customers in the United States. That’s the Sweet Chili and Cajun sauces. 

Which one is preferred by members of the BTS ARMY? Here’s what fans said about this collaboration.

BTS collaborated with McDonald’s to bring a meal to fans across the globe

This K-pop group partnered with brands like Samsung, KIA, and Starbucks. Now, they’re working with the fast-food chain McDonald’s, bringing the BTS meal to almost 50 countries. What makes this meal special for fans in the United States is that it brings two new sauces, inspired by the flavors of South Korea-based McDonald’s. 

That’s the Sweet Chili and Cajun sauces, both of which can be used with the McNuggets of the BTS Meal. Since the collaboration’s release in May, some fans took to social media, sharing their love for the new products. 

Which sauce from the BTS McDonald’s meal is better — Sweet Chili or Cajun?

When it comes to the two BTS-picked sauces with this meal, some fans have split thoughts on the new flavors. One fan stated that the Sweet Chili sauce makes the McNuggets taste like orange chicken. 

Others shared their love for the spice in the Cajun sauce. Overall, both have been well-received by members of the BTS ARMY, some even taking to social media to comment on the collaboration. 

“Just got the BTS Meal…,” one fan on Quora stated. “The Sweet Chili was AMAZING. The Cajun and Buffalo were OK. But if you dump the fries in the bag then pour the Cajun and Buffalo and shake you will love it trust me.”

“A little sad I didn’t receive the designed package but the sauces, however, were delicious,” another fan wrote. “Some prefer the Sweet Chili sauce while others prefer just the Cajun. I on the other hand like both when mixed together and I’ve been craving those sauces every day since then… It’s worth it!”

What else comes with the BTS McDonald’s Meal?

The specifics of this meal vary based on location, but generally speaking, the BTS McDonald’s meal is the same for fans across the globe. This meal includes a 10 or 9-piece Chicken McNuggets (depending on the market), medium fries, a medium drink, and the two dipping sauces.

This meal, separate from the Happy Meal, does not include a toy or photocards, as some fans initially expected. In select countries, though, this meal included purple cups, bags, and other perks for members of the BTS ARMY.

The “Life Goes On” music video by BTS is now available for streaming on YouTube. The K-pop group’s deluxe album, titled Be, is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms.
