BTS Is Launching a Meal at McDonald’s
BTS is in full work mode, delivering new music, new videos, and now a brand new meal at McDonald’s. Jin, V, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, and Jimin are beloved worldwide for their stunning vocals, dance moves, and iconic style — so much so that McDonald’s is more than ready to get in on the action.
On April 19, the fast-food chain made a major announcement about its collaboration with the K-pop band. Following in the footsteps of rapper Travis Scott, who had his own McDonald’s meal in 2020, BTS will be debuting their McDonald’s meal globally for their ARMY.
What is BTS’ McDonald’s meal?
It’s no secret that Jin, V, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, and Jimin all adore food. They are constantly eating or talking about food on social media and in other content for fans. Therefore, a global collaboration with McDonald’s seems like the perfect fit.
Now, it appears the band has come up with a collective meal they all enjoy for fans to partake in. The BTS x McDonald’s meal consists of a 10-piece order of Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, and a Coke. Fans in the U.S. will also be able to get two new dipping sauces inspired by McDonald’s sauces in South Korea for their nuggets.
When will BTS’ McDonald’s meal be available?
BTS is more than thrilled about their McDonald’s meal. After all, they are only one group out of a handful of people to collaborate with the restaurant in this way.
“The band has great memories with McDonald’s,” Big Hit Entertainment said in a statement about the collaboration. “We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world.”
The BTS meal will be available for fans around the world to try. BTS ARMY in the U.S. will be able to snag their meal on May 26, with fans in South Korea being able to grab a meal on May 27.
Will BTS’ McDonald’s meal include postcards?
In addition to the meal, McDonald’s has announced a new jingle sung by the guys themselves. “Ba da ba ba ba but make it BTS,” the fast food chain tweeted. Now, the BTS ARMY is determined to find out whether the BTS x McDonald’s meal is going to come with any extras, including postcards.
Many fans are begging for keepsakes. One fan asked on Twitter: “I have two questions: 1.) Will the McDonald’s meal come with photo cards? 2.) If not, can they? @McDonalds pls answer ty.”
Another added: “Never thought i’d get to experience a bts x mcdonald’s collab but i’m more than willing to travel to another country if it means i’m getting a free photo card with my bts meal.”
If this collaboration is successful, maybe the BTS ARMY can look forward to individual meals in the future.
