These idols may be international popstars. Before that, though, they explored their passion for the arts in school and outside of their studies. IN fact, two of the BTS members attended the same high school for a brief amount of time — V and Jimin. They attended the Korean Arts High School.

For the Map of the Soul: 7 song titled “Friends,” the performers elaborated on their friendship and their experience as students. The lyrics read, “I remember our uniforms/ Our memories are movies/ The dumpling incident is a comedy movie,” according to one translation.

All of the BTS members graduated from high school

There are seven members of BTS, (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook,) and each of them graduated from high school, some of whom went on to attend college. According to MNews, six of the BTS members went to the same college before hitting it big in BTS — Global Cyber University.

The seventh and the oldest BTS member, Jin, reportedly attended Konkuk University, as a student in the Department of Film and Animation. The youngest member of BTS, Jungkook, actually graduated from high school, the School of Performing Arts, Seoul, after already debuting with the boy band.

Jungkook attended his high school graduation

Back when BTS was just starting out, Jungkook was graduating high school. The performer had a chance to attend the graduation ceremony complete with his yellow and black blazer uniform and tie. The whole event was recorded for a BTS YouTube vlog, published during 2014. Since then, the video has earned almost 5 million views, mostly from fans noticing how far the artist has come since then.

In fact, after graduating from high school, Jungkook went on to break a few records with this K-pop group. Jungkook became the youngest, and one of the only, K-pop idols to perform at the Grammy Awards. He performed a few solo songs, including the Love Yourself: Answer song, titled “Euphoria.”

There’s no word regarding if Jungkook will ever attend and graduate college. The next step for most of the BTS members is joining the military. That is especially true for Jin, who will presumably enlist within the next year. Until then, fans can stream the boy band’s latest release, Map of the Soul: 7, on music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
